Adam Weissman

Adam is a transactional attorney with a background in media and entertainment production, providing legal counsel on commercial and intellectual property issues. In addition to representing companies, artists, and creators in the media and entertainment world, Adam regularly works with clients in leisure, recreational, and other industries, advising them on licensing and regulatory issues, and other legal and operational matters.

Adam's practice combines his love of the arts, fascination with the changing landscape at the intersection of law and digital media, and insight gained from his past as an associate at a litigation firm, fighting for his clients in court and resolving complex disputes. His approach balances thorough knowledge of the law with a clear understanding of his clients’ practical business and operational concerns.

Adam also acts as external general counsel for companies that require general business advice and regular assistance on transactional legal matters. Adam previously acted as general counsel for Nylon Media until its sale to Bustle Digital Group in 2019, and currently acts as general counsel for Socialyte, a full-service, digital marketing agency.

Outside of law, Adam is a musician and performer with a passion for the Blues, R&B, and Rock, and dabbles in documentary film-making.
