A year ago I had the bright idea to go-it-alone at DMV Traffic Court to fight a texting when driving ticket. As I was looking at the screen to see when my hearing was, West offered help to find which courtroom I was in. We got to talking and I have to say that I liked West's upfront and honest dem...eanor and decided that I was going to use his counsel to help me with my ticket. I had a good feeling about him and trusted my gut being that I had only known him for 2 minutes. He told me I could leave and that he would text me after he represented me in court. A few hours later I get a text from West telling me that he was successful in postponing the court date to July 18th 2023 (Today). To be honest, I had forgotten about the court date today. I assumed that I would receive some information from NY DOT of when the next court date was and left it at that....... Well let me tell you that I jumped for joy when i received a text from West today saying that he had the case dismissed!! No fines / no points! I mean, the guy just went in and got the job done. I didnt have to constantly be in contact or continue to pay him to insure that he was still on the case. He just got the job done with no extra effort from me. If I ever have another issue with NY DOT in the future, West will be the first person I call.
