Words alone cannot express how much I value my matrimonial/family law attorney, Jason Advocate. I met him a few years ago during a very difficult time in my life. I had met with several attorneys and just didn't feel good about retaining any of them. I heard about Jason Advocate from a partner at ...a very reputable law firm in NYC that I had worked with on a case and respect very much. He told me Jason Advocate was an exceptional matrimonial/family law attorney and said he would retain Jason himself if he were ever going through a divorce. I called Jason Advocate right away and went to see him the same day. The second I met Jason, I got great vibes. I knew my child and I would be safe with him and I was right! He's extremely bright and knowledgeable about matrimonial/family law. He's very down to earth and easy to talk to. He's also honest, very professional, tough when he needs to be, and just a good person in general. Jason Advocate is also very well respected and liked by other attorneys in the field. I can't count the number of times other attorneys we ran into at court would tell me I was in good hands. He fights hard for his clients and takes on every case as if he were fighting for his own family members. Jason doesn't drag out cases - he has an amazing ability to settle cases quickly, with great results and can make even the most irrational person become rational. Jason Advocate is more than just an attorney - he is a great listener, problem solver, confidant negotiator, and has the highest level of integrity. I recommend Jason Advocate to anyone I meet looking for a good matrimonial/family law attorney. Sadly just this year a few of my friends and acquaintances have needed a matrimonial attorney and have ALL retained Jason Advocate after consulting with him. They are all very pleased with Jason and thank me just about every week for recommending him. Going through divorce with children is very difficult and stressful. Jason stays focused on his clients' needs and above all stands up for the children involved in these cases. Young, innocent people are often involved in these messy divorces and Jason does everything in his power to ensure that his clients' children are protected and treated fairly.
