Hello
I am a partner at the Law Offices of Diamond, Fee & Kalos, PLLC. My partners provide our clients with high quality representation in their important matrimonial and family law matters and I believe that our narrow focus enables us to remain abreast of the most recent developments in our field.
I have been a family lawyer for over 25 years allowing me to see the toll that divorce, custody disputes, and overall conflict can take on families. I have experience in every aspect of the family law system, and an ability to understand and account for the needs of different parties in complex family dynamics.
I have been a litigator, trial skills instructor, and adjunct professor, all in the area of family law. I am also an assistant director at The Center for Mediation & Training offering collaboration with experts in the field.
One of the things I have come to realize is how vulnerable children are when experiencing family stress and conflict. I represented child after child and decided that I wanted to help in a different, and hopefully less antagonistic, way.
Research shows that it is not divorce that harms children; it is the stress and conflict. Mediation can create an atmosphere that enables families to create their own solutions and to remain focused and in control of their situations. I am skilled in helping families approach crises respectfully which I believe helps relationships regardless of the outcome.
I am approachable, a quick and creative thinker, and fully committed to helping families.
I would be happy to speak with you to see if I can help.

I wish I had met Carolyn years ago. My divorce was not acrimonious but it was daunting nonetheless. The mere prospect of having to have difficult conversations with my ex-husband, of navigating the byzantine paperwork made me procrastinate. It was such a relief to meet Carolyn and have our initial...
