Marshall B. Bellovin

in February of 2020 my husband and I hired Ballon Stoll P.C. attorney Marshall Bellovin to handle a case on my husbands behalf. (Check public records for proof of info case#160014/2020) For months which turned into years my husband and I got no response at all from Attorney Marshall and if we did w...hich was rare it was from his paralegal Omar Brunson. Needless to say the firm really dropped the ball on my husbands case. His case didn't even make it past filing because Marshall's Paralegal Omar Brunson mishandled my husbands case on so many levels. There was negligence by both Omar and Marshall and multiple clerical errors caused by Omar Brunson that got the case dismissed NOT ON THE MERITS, but only on the neglect and multiple clerical errors on Marshall's paralegals end. He submitted the filed paperwork in February of 2023 never followed up on it until OCTOBER which is EIGHT MONTHS LATER (the court gives you 6 months to correct any and all errors) Only after 8 months did Omar realize he made numerous mistakes and tried to resubmit said paperwork he yet again messed up on that and it was already to late to resubmit anything, but he tried to anyways he then waited until April Another SIX MONTHS to follow up on the resubmission only to find out that in March of 2024 the case was disposed He resubmitted AGAIN with a sworn and signed affidavit admitting everything was HIS AND THE FIRMS fault due to negligence and clerical errors specifically "FAILURE TO PERFECT AND MEET DEADLINES" literally begging the courts to undo the motion of dismissal because it was their fault not us the client this was submitted May of 2024 and on September 19th 2024 the motion to undo the dismissal was denied. My husband followed up week after week and month after month the last we heard anything was from Omar Brunson the paralegal in March of 2025 and he said there was nothing knew on the case. my husband decided to check the public court records and found that Omar and the firm was lying to him and his case was in fact dismissed September 19th of 2024 NOT ON THE MERITS OF MY HUSBANDS CASE, BUT ONLY DUE TO THE FIRMS ERRORS AND NEGLIGENCE !We sent Mr Bellovin a certified copy of everything including the affidavit signed by his paralegal and told him we want a full refund as we paid them $10,000 to do a job that was never done, but only disposed of due to their negligence. We recorded the whole phone conversation with Marshall where he advised he would "speak with his paralegal for more info and speak with his partners about a partial refund" we told him we have been talking to other attorneys and we're entitled to a full refund and that's what we want he set a date and time one week from that Convo and a day prior to that date Marshall gave an excuse as to why he couldn't call us back. He said he would give us new times and days where he could talk its been a month and he is ignoring our emails, calls and voicemails. Upon further investigation behind Marshall and the lawfirm Ballon Stoll P.c. it seems as though many others have had their case's dismissed due to their negligence and errors along with no responses by any of the attorneys and paralegals. We have filed a grievance against the firm and will be taking them to court for a full refund and have contacted multiple news stations to pick up this storyline. We told Marshall we want to resolve this peacefully and respectfully, but he decided to ignore us so now this is what will happen moving forward until we're refunded. The firm and all cases they've handled needs to be investigated I can only imagine how many others they've done this too took their money and lied about why the case was dismissed. Stay away from this firm you WILL be their next victim! We will not stop handling things the legal way until we're refunded our money back.

I hired Marshall in February of 2020 to have my case overturned. I paid him IN FULL $10,000 instead of him handling my case he had his paralegal Omar Brunson handling the case I've gotten nothing but a run around for months that turned into years by both Marshall's paralegal Omar Brunson and their s...ecretary. I finally went to public records to check my case status myself only to find that my case was dismissed a year ago to date September 2024 due to Marshall's paralegals clerical errors, negligence and failure to perfect before the deadline meanwhile I was told back in March of 2025 by Omar Brunson himself their was no update on my case. My case was dismissed NOT ON THE MERITS, but only due to Marshall's paralegal not meeting deadlines in time along with negligence and clerical errors making the law firm Ballon Stoll P.C. & attorney Marshall Bellovin legally liable. They tried to cover this up and walk with my $10,000 instead of being honest and truthful. I have a recorded phone conversation with Marshall Bellovin himself almost 4 weeks ago to which he advised me he would speak to his partners in regards to a partial refund. We told him we're entitled to a full refund as we paid them to do a job and it wasn't done and didn't even make it past the filing process due to his paralegals negligence there for making Marshall and the law firm legally liable! Marshall advised he'd get back to us via phone call the following week and when the day prior came about he gave an excuse as to why he could not call us and has since ignored our every email, phone call and message left with receptionist. So now we have not only filed a grievance against the firm, but we are taking him to court for a full refund. I can only imagine how many other cases were dismissed because of their negligence and they were dishonest with their clients and they walked free with their clients hard earned money. This firm needs to be investigated along with any and all cases new and old handled by this firm that paralegal Omar Brunson needs his credentials reevaluated and they need to do the right thing and give us our money back. We have told Marshall in numerous emails we want to resolve this peacefully and respectfully just give us our money and we will remain silent and everyone walks away with lessons learned, but instead Marshall decides to ignore us so now we will be leaving reviews contacting news stations to try and get this aired on television and taking him to small claims court. Stay far away from this law firm you will be their next victim and they wont even feel sorry about taking your money while doing NOTHING to help you, but instead lie give a run around and not be honest. It didn't have to go this way and we will back off if we get what is rightfully ours back!
