Ray Mellon, a very important part of your team.

For those of you in need of legal representation please take the timeout to read this review. There is a big difference between just looking for a lawyer and finding a well informed, conscience, hard working battler as Ray Mellon. I first met Ray at the Brooklyn Chapter AIA meetings back in the '90...s. He became the legal council for the chapter. After hearing him speak on many issues that affect the architectural profession, it became clear to me that he was not just a lawyer but someone who took the time to get involved and familiarize himself with the many regulations and liability issues that affect my office on a daily basis. Since 1998, Ray has represented my firm on five separate lawsuits. In each case, his professionalism, his understanding of the law as it pertains to architects, and the constant contact with my firm to keep us informed, conveyed a feeling of comfort and expertise that always kept us reassured that we were in good hands. Ray was successful in each case to limit our exposure and bring the suits to a positive conclusion. To this day, Ray is always requested a my legal council. Ray is highly recommended and should always be thought of as a strong member of your team.

Managing Principal

Ray is the consummate professional and handles all of my firm’s professional, legal and real estate affairs. I have found him to be at the forefront of the recent statute changes regarding professional licensure and corporate registrations. In dispute resolution he has been swift to find a means t...o extricate us from cases clearly without merit and has been tenacious in our defense when necessary. I am delighted to have him as my trusted counsel and over the years, even more so to also call him my friend.

Ray Mellon On top of his game

My relationship with Ray started on a personal level as when we met, I was represented by the firm of Phillips Nizer, but it wasn’t long until I moved my business to Ray Mellon. Ray's expertise in construction and real estate law was exactly what I needed. He has represented me for the last 18 year...s and I expect we will work together for 18 more. Ray's advice, approach, demeanor both in and out of the court room is his gift that as a client you get to enjoy over and over again. Ray is cool calm collected and very calculated in his dealings on your behalf. He is a man of principle and conviction, committed to his client. I am grateful to have Ray in my quiver as I am grateful to have him as my friend. You would be as well.

Simply the best in the business. A true professional. A gentleman. A masterful tactician.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ray Mellon, as well as many other attorneys over my career. I have found that Mr. Mellon's wisdom, knowledge, expertise, creativity and experience, particularly within the world of the design and construction industry, is without parallel. Ray has represented... my interests across the spectrum of contracts, business tactics, and mediation that has helped to exemplify a core principle of my business dealings. Ray's efforts have chiseled in stone the idea that the best way to get out of trouble is to stay out of trouble. Ray brings to the table the creativity of an artist, the "wordsmithing" of a best selling author, the charm and grace of an esquire, and a fierce passion for the law and the courtroom. When thinking of the law in the design and construction industry, don't just think Ray Mellon, call him. You will not be disappointed.
