From 1 Million in debt to DEBT FREE!!

I was over 1,000,000 in debt on two homes and owed over 45,000 on my credit cards. I contacted John Crane and realized very soon that he really is different. John explained that because neither of my homes had equity, and because I was co-owner with another family member on each, that I would be ab...le to keep both homes and still have all of my credit card debt wiped out. I was a nervous wreck and John patiently met with me and spent over one hour learning about my specific situation and explaining the entire bankruptcy process and all of my options to me. Because I had never filed before and was very nervous, John actually met with me numerous times, carefully explained what documents were required, and personally prepared my bankruptcy petition with me. John always answered my telephone calls and when he didn’t, he always called me right back. I know there are many other bankruptcy attorneys, but nobody would have cared about me the way John did. He personally reassured me as to what to expect at my meeting, and followed up with me to reduce my stress. I only wish I had called him earlier. I could have reduced months of stress and got my fresh start on life much earlier!

The Bloomingdale's of Bankruptcy

My employment had been cut back and I was over $30,000 in debt. I called for the free consultation and met with John personally, not his assistant. We met for over 1 hour and I told him my entire situation. He explained all my options, even those that did not involve bankruptcy. Then he explained... the process, types of bankruptcy and why ch. 7 was the best option for me. When he was done, he asked if I had any questions and thanked me for coming in. He never tried to sell me anything or to sign anything. John was the only person I met with to go over documents, sign forms or to answer my questions. His assistant called with updates, or to request documents I forgot, but John met me every time. He always had 5 or 10 minutes to answer my questions. Before I went to court, John went over everything that would happen and it happened just the way he said it would! While any attorney could have filed my bankruptcy, what makes John special is that he was personally involved and personally available to me at every step. I doubt any attorney would go to the lengths that John did to explain how bankruptcy would affect my credit and give me specific instructions on how to improve my credit after the bankruptcy is over! In fact, somebody garnished my check after we went to court. John got all my money back in a couple of weeks after telling them they were breaking the law. John treated me with respect and in a way that reduced all of the stress I had been feeling. Because he cares, John goes out of his way to make you understand.

"From co-ops to castles, John eliminates the hassles. He's the one you want behind you to help with any real estate transaction. His deep experience in the field and attention to detail allows him to spot problems, quirks, and curlicues in a real estate deal right away. He also takes a holistic (instead of purely transactional) approach to real estate deals so that clients know how the purchase/sale can affect their total financial and investment picture. John is responsive and approachable ... but not afraid to dig in and advocate for his client's best interests. Finally, John is incredibly resourceful--eager to bring in strategic partners and advisors so a client can get all the help and guidance they really need. I'm delighted to endorse John."

"Let me count the ways... Famous words that perfectly encapsulate what it is to work with John Crane. An utter professional to his core and an amazingly knowledgeable, kind and caring attorney that takes a holistic approach to the representation of his clients. Despite John's vast experience, he is always thinking outside of the box to ensure that he can see the whole picture to best aid his clients. Most real estate attorneys have no idea about tax law and trusts and estates. This is rather crazy in my humble opinion because most wealth in this country is derived from real estate holdings. John takes the initiative to include those valuable insights into his client's considerations to make them "whole" on each transaction. I would have no hesitation ever in referring John to any of my clients, friends or family. He is a stellar professional, true advocate and an all around pleasure to deal with. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 12."
