Taylor was a Brooklyn district attorney who moved quickly through the ranks to become a top prosecutor. He was featured on tv as a top Brooklyn prosecutor and was well liked and respected by all his peers. He's approachable, friendly, and most importantly has had great success as a defense attorney.
This gentleman has gone above and beyond to help me with my matter. He is professional and clearly well versed in his expertise. I am very happy that I chose Avvo and lucky enough to have been placed with Mr. Koss.
I have deciated my entire legal career to the pursuit of justice. For well over a decade, I worked at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, trying to make sure that every prosecution that I was involed with was just and fair. It was in my final two years at the DA's Office, while serving as the Deputy Chief of the Conviction Integrity Unit, that I realized that our criminal justice system was plagued by wrongful convictions. Wrongful Convictions occur for a variety of reason, including the failure of the police and prosecuiton to provide exculpatory evidence to the defense, mistakes made during identification procedures, and ineffective assistance by an individual's defense attorney. Upon this realization, I decided to leave my career as a prosecutor, and dedicate the rest of my career to helping prevent and address the criminal justice system's systemic issues with Wrongful Convictions. I work my hardest to ensure that all of my clients get the best possible representation in their current pending criminal legal matters. Additionally, I investigate and work on cases where individuals claim they have been wrongfully convicted. I have been successful in helping to exonerate indiviudals that have spent decades in jail for crimes they didn't commit. I also think it is important to hold our City to the highest standards when dealing with the criminal justice system, and if the system fails an individual, and their civil rights have been violated, I will gladly pursue that case with the utmost urgency and dedication. If you have a new or pending criminal, drunk driving, or civil rights case, please do not hesitate to call me to discuss. I will glady, with no charge, discuss your case and see if I can be of assistance. If you or a family member has been wrongfully convicted of a crime, please contact me immediately.

Saint Koss.
This guy really knew what he was doing. He made me felt less worried than it really should be. He asked me clear and concise questions that helped move the process a lot faster. It was professional. If you ever needed legal help and need answers asap; you go to this individual.

Honest review for an intelligent, effective and genuinely caring attorney
Taylor was assigned to me in court and immediately after speaking to him I knew he was the right attorney to represent me in my misdemeanor case. He has a background in prosecution so he is well aware of how that side works. This proved crucial in my particular case since it was a major misunderstanding that occurred after someone called the police in my building related to noise being made. Taylor was always prompt in his responses to me and in allaying my concerns throughout the case. Needless to say, everything was dropped and I was satisfied with the result. I would whole heartedly recommend Taylor.

"Taylor is a talented and well respected former prosecutor I have had the privilege of working with on several cases. He is dedicated and knows the system, but more important, he knows how to win cases. In a courtroom, that's all that really matters since often a client's life and freedom are at stake."

"Taylor was a top prosecutor in the Brooklyn district attorney's office and rose fast through the ranks to becoming a bureau chief there. so much so that he was featured in the tv series about that office of about 10 prosecutors. As a defense attorney he has had huge success overturning cases. He also a good guy and very personable"

"Taylor has the unteachable quality of getting to the heart of a case in minutes. Very many lawyers these days waste a client's time, usually at the client's expense. Taylor's clients don't have that concern."

"I endorse this lawyer. I observed Taylor make his way up the ranks as a top notch prosecutor. He has since used these devoloped skills as pit bull defense attorney helping the accused. He is both a feared trial attorney and adroit at crafting a path for a favorable dispostion of cases for his clients."

"I endorse this lawyer without reservation. Talor Koss was a prosecutor a the Brooklyn DAs office. He always performed his job with honesty, integrity and humility. I was pleased, although hardly surprised, when I learned he was promoted to Deputy Bureau Chief. He is a good man and fine lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Taylor Koss worked hard to overturn the conviction of a man that was sentenced to life in jail for murder. Murder convictions are rarely overturned and dismissed. What makes this matter remarkable is that Taylor Koss was working as an Assistant District Attorney when he uncovered evidence that an innocent man was convicted and sentenced to life in jail for a murder he did not commit. Taylor Koss certainly gets my endorsement!!"
