I was recommended to Rachel by a friend, and after our first consultation I knew she was the one to hire. Even though I didn't hire her for a few months after our meeting, she stuck to the original rate she quoted us, even though her rates had gone up a bit since. That to me was a sign of integrity a...nd honesty. The immigration situation is such a long and drawn out process with SO much paperwork and many moving parts, but Rachel and her assistant Hillary helped us out a great deal by letting us know exactly what was needed for us to put together a great packet. Once we finally got around to our marriage interview, the interviewer even said that it was a really good packet. He gave us very little grief or questioning about our relationship, and we think it's because the packet was so thorough with photos, texts, etc. This process took about 9 months of our lives, and Rachel was with us every step of the way to answer questions, return emails, etc. One small complaint is that there were two occasions earlier in the process where there were misspellings of names or missing info that wasn't sent over on her end that probably cost us about a month in delays, but it was nothing really major. My husband just received his Green Card in the mail yesterday, and we're glad that this part of the process is over, and we'd recommend Rachel to anyone who needs an immigration attorney that's focused on the LGBT community. She really is an asset to our community. We are very, very pleased and would recommend Rachel quickly and enthusiastically.
