At our initial meeting, Rachel spent an hour describing the process, timeline, salient considerations and preparatory work that we could start thinking about. That time was free – prior to engaging Rachel, we had walked away with a sheet of paper in her own handwriting outlining the process. Looking at that sheet of paper six months later, with green card in hand, she nailed it! We had some complexities in our case, including a parallel process to correct some erroneous information in my current foreign passport prior to submitting the green card application. Although I engaged local legal assistance within my native country, Rachel was able to provide constructive guidance with respect to processes that would normally fall outside her scope. After experiencing an unsuccessful outcome with another lawyer, Rachel made my husband and I feel confident in what we could expect from the immigration interview in order to have a successful outcome. To say I was nervous about my husband's interview going well is an understatement after all we wen...t through. Rachel was there for us the whole way through. She made herself available in person, by text, by phone and at any time. From our first meeting she made me feel that everything would turn out all right and it did.
