Meredith I Madon

I first met Meredith in 2005 when she was working at Advocates for Children as a special education lawyer. I called in on the hotline and even though she couldn’t take my case on she was able to make a call to my son’s school district and get him the services he needed. When she opened up her priv...ate practice in 2007 she took on my case and has been representing my son since then. My son is Autistic and Meredith has always had a deep understanding of my son’s disability including his strengths and the areas he needs to work on. She also has understood school settings and what would work for him. One thing I really appreciate about Meredith is that she always gets back to me right away when I need to speak to her. She always listens to what I am saying and makes sure that she explains his needs to the school district so that he can get what he needs. I have about 5 friends who have used Meredith as their lawyer and they felt the same way – that she understood their children and their needs, that she always got back to them when they called and that she was able help get their children what they needed. All of us have always thought that Meredith is extremely responsible, respectful of us and our children and knowledgeable about them and the law. She gets along well with the school district and because of that she was able to settle my case and my son was able to get all the services he needed for the past 10 years. This year was the first year since 2007 that we went to hearing. We won everything we asked for.

Meredith Madon is a reliable hard working attorney. During the time that she worked with our children she was able to get much needed services like seech and occuptaional theraphy, special placements at special needs schools and act quickly during serious suspension issues. Her experience is not limi...ted to the law texts, as a special needs teacher, Meredith has been in the front lines helping children from the classroom.
