Lawrence H. Bloom

This lawyer is a fraud. He didn't defend my interests; instead, he prioritized those of my ex-husband (likely in exchange for a significant financial payoff). He drained my funds by misleading me, while also receiving money from my ex for deceiving and misguiding me. He failed to discover assets and ...savings. I insisted several times that funds and assets must be discovered before divorce, he ignored claiming it could be addressed AFTER the divorce. He pressured me into agreeing to a visitation schedule of two out of three weekends in a favor to my x, claiming the judge would order it anyway. In reality, this was not the case, and the only person benefiting from this arrangement was my ex-husband. Because of the such frequent visitation schedule, he was ordered to pay significantly less child support, Bloom not only failed to warn me about, but insisted for me to accept it. He completely ignored my needs and did everything he could to favor my ex-husband. Unfortunately, I only realized this after signing the divorce agreement, when it was already too late. I can't fully express the stress, devastation, and humiliation I experienced with this man. He should never be allowed to practice law.

Worst experience I ever had. Did not have staff charged me for rewriting things that he wrote incorrectly. Was not helpful cost me a fortune. I had an amount willing to pay even though he had written me a pre nup. Could not back prenup get wrote incorrectly. Still ran me through 6 months of hell.... Male chauvinist. Did not even try to help me. Just charged me lawyer rates on all. Made me uncomfortable to call him. Actually said he is not here to understand situation just a lawyer. Devorce lawyers are suppose to help situation not make worse. Husband abandoned our property not paying bills and he did not feel that I should be able to change lock for my Safty.

If you want to win your case and get the the job done efficiently with "no nonsense" this is your guy! He's not a hand holder; he streamlines your case down to the essentials, keeping you on track & point, saving you money and time. He was very responsive and always answered questions in a timely m...anner. He's a lawyer that does what he says, and says what he does, backed up by knowledge and tons of experience. What you see is what you get! Very refreshing. I would highly recommend him.

I rated Larry with five stars across the board. Why? Because out of all the lawyers I have had to work with, Larry was by far the best. Getting divorced sucks. There is no other way to say it. You will spend lots of money to wind up with an agreement that will not be what you hoped for. ... It is up to your attorney to prepare you for that. It is up to your attorney to keep you informed of all the possibilities and pitfalls. Larry does that. What did Larry not do? Larry didn't lead me around by my emotions. He didn't milk me for billable hour after billable hour stoking the divorce flames to enrich his monthly invoice. I had two other divorce attorneys before Larry. Larry was the only one who kept the focus on what was achievable and realistic. Larry let me know when my requests were wastes of time and money. In the end Larry was the one to close out all my divorce, custody, and support proceedings.

As is the case in life you get what you pay for. Mr. Bloom was a candidate two years ago but I opted for the less expensive version. Two years later I released that lawyer and hired Mr. Bloom. He has always impressed me in clearly telling me what was about to happen in terms I understood and that h...ave material impact to me and my case. The lesser version fell far short in terms of effective communication and insightful legal advice. I feel that I am now in extremely competent hands. Regards Will
