    Referred a friend.
Was told that he speaks at you--not to you.
Spent most of the on the phone with others calling in.
Does not do a free consultation as many tenant lawyers do.
Seems to be only interested in collecting his high hourly rate of $300.00.
Was not interested in handling the case. Should have told the person that from the get go instead of wasting their time and taking their money.
    Will never refer him again.
Found three other lawyers that handle tenant landlord issues and have sliding scale fees.

Had a consultation with Jeffrey for three hundred dollars. As he reviewed some of my paperwork, he proceeded to get on the phone with ANOTHER client (who was complaining about something) and proceeded to deal with their problem during MY consultation. This douche spent almost 20 min consoling his client on the phone as I sat there thinking, well he's certainly going to make up this time with ME, who was paying three hundred dollars for this consultation. Right? WWWWRRRRONG.

This douche ended our consultation five min. EARLY and when I asked him a question that I really wanted answered he got all huffy as though I was out of line. I sucked it up because this rude man had so much info on me and what I was going through with my landlord at the time that I thought it was best just to get out of there and find another lawyer. On top of it I had to sit there in his messy office and look at pictures of his homely wife and homely child. AVOID THIS

  • OK ATTORNEY GOOD NEGOTIATOR BUT . . .

    3.0 stars

Jeff McAdams is AN OK ATTORNEY who is personable, caring, and professional, and who will represent you in a satisfactory manner. This Ivy educated barrister is a one-man show who is professorial in personality and style, generally trustworthy, but more of a negotiator than a litigator. A big possible problem with Jeff, however is that he is notorious for NOT returning phone calls to clients in a timely manner, and quite frankly, hopelessly lost and/or forgetful in tracking his cases without his able assistant. BOTTOM LINE: CLIENT BEWARE: If you can put up with unanswered messages left at his office, not being informed of the progress of your case, and wondering when work is going to be finished, then stick with him, otherwise out of frustration you'd be wise to find an attorney or law firm that is better able to be more attentive to your legal needs.
