Biography
Corey T. Lee is the founder and managing partner of C.T. Lee & Associates. Corey has extensive experience representing NYC based (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island) real estate clients on the buy side and sell side for residential real estate properties (condo, co-op, townhome, multifamily).
Regarding immigration law, Corey has extensive experience representing corporate clients in a variety of industries on all aspects of U.S. immigration. He provides counsel on all aspects of business immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, citizenship, compliance, and consular processing. Corey offers immigration advice to a wide spectrum of clients in various industries and advises companies of all sizes ranging from small and medium size to larger companies in diverse industries.
In addition, he has knowledge and experience in providing counsel on matters related to business and investment visas such as the E, L, H, O, employment based-visas, permanent residency applications, PERM Certification. His clients include pharmaceutical, insurance, real estate, retail, technology, and resultant-chain businesses. He also manages a legal team that focuses on exclusive immigration matters and challenges of representing clients.
Corey also regularly appears in immigration court for deportation defense hearings. Corey has written appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and federal appeals to several circuit courts.
Corey's litigation experience includes cases involving commercial litigation, car accidents, slip and falls, police brutality, medical malpractice, and worker's compensation. He has successfully obtained settlements for his clients worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Corey has also assisted business owners in various types of business law matters in New York and New Jersey. These include corporate formation, drafting of corporate documents, partnership formation, drafting of partnership documents, and generally consulting clients on business decisions.
Corey often utilizes the knowledge he gained from his time at New York University's Stern School of Business in his areas of legal practice. His understanding of both the legal and business side of deals allows his clients to gain a fuller picture of their options and obstacles. Corey graduated with a degree in Finance and International Business at NYU.
Corey is admitted to the State bar of New York, the State bar of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the New York Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Corey Lee graduated and obtained his Juris Docturate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. He served as Associate Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. He served as a summer clerk for the Honorable William H. Walls, a federal district judge in Newark, New Jersey. He also worked as a summer associate at Dickstein Shapiro. After his studies at NYU, he worked under the economic legislative assistant for the late New Jersey Senator, the Honorable Frank Lautenberg.
