Andrea Hoyos

I remember the first time I appeared in court with Ms. Hoyos I told her that I knew it was her job to believe her clients and defend them, but that one day I had hoped that she would believe me. A couple appearances later, as I was speaking with her on the phone while on my way to court, she mentione...d to me (I'm paraphrasing here as it was over a year ago) that she reached out to a personal friend of hers to check into the status of my opponent's green card application to see if there was anything that could be done to tell the immigration review board the truth about this horrible person I am up against who doesn't deserve to be in this country and basically also swindled their way into getting a green card... That's when I knew she believed me. That's what matters to me. Anyone can study law and go through the motions of filing proper paperwork in a timely manner, but to have someone on your side who believes you, believes IN you, and who wants to see justice prevail... Well that's what I call a lawyer I want to work with! in cases like mine, cases that have a serious emotional and psychological impact on you, your health, and overall well being, I believe it's important to have someone who believes in you to help you win your fight. Ms. Hoyos has been that person for me so far, and I hope and believe that she will continue to be that person for many more people to come.
