About David
Biography
I was born in the Bronx and grew up in Queens. I graduated from Great Neck North Sr. High School.
I began working at a firm whose practice was limited to medical malpractice cases when I was still in Law School and remained there for many years, managing files from intake to resolution. I gained trial experience there, initially by "second seating" the partners and trying cases myself.
I owned my own firm for 16 years after that.
In 2009 I joined another firm known for medical malpractice and was a senior trial attorney there, taking 20 cases to trial in just four years. I have taken verdicts on a minimum of 70 cases as of this writing, and have obtained numerous multimillion dollar verdicts on cases which had been marked as "no pay" by defense representatives.
In 2013 I left the firm to become trial counsel to the legal profession in significant medical malpractice and personal injury matters. I have already appeared in that time as trial counsel to a dozen different law firms including several whose partners are past presidents of the New York State Trial Lawyer's Assoiation.
I am currently a member of the Judicial Screening Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. I spent 19 years as a volunteer attorney advisor to the Mock Trial Team from the High School in my home town of Port Washington.
