Time and money wasted

On April 12, I requested assistance in responding to a USCS Request for Evidence (RFE) regarding the EB-2 NIW visa I was seeking. The immigration service had set a deadline of June 4. Prior to my payment for legal services, I was informed that the work would be completed by the end of May. However—de...spite having a month and a half at our disposal—absolutely no work was undertaken, despite my numerous requests to get started. In other words, I was the one initiating every step of the process and identifying the information that needed to be included in the documents. It was not until the very end of July—!!!—that I finally began receiving material for review and collaboration. Consequently, all the necessary documents were submitted by the attorney at the end of July! Naturally, being two months past the official deadline, such a delay could not possibly yield a positive outcome. My visa application was denied. Under the circumstances, a favorable result was simply out of the question. Both my time and money were completely wasted.

Lost money and time with him

I worked with this lawyer last year when I was planning to apply for an extraordinary visa. After the draft of the petition was ready, I requested to see it. It was terrible, with many mistakes, including my questions to the lawyer. After I provided my comments and questions regarding the draft, M...ichael abruptly terminated our contract without any explanation. He retained 100% of the fees, which was a singificant amount for me and sent me an 'improved' version of the petition with the comment, 'This is all I can do for you; find another lawyer.' It was very unprofessional. I tried multiple times to discuss the strategy of my case with him, but he never engaged in these conversations. It took me a long time to recover from this situation, as I lost both money and time with this lawyer.

Has a drive but not great at keeping track

At first, Michael was very inspiring and promising. However, as the time went by he kept postponing calls, wasn't aware of the deadlines. Additionally, the direction of the supporting letter for the case idea wasn't aligned with my vision. Needed to find another lawyer to wrap up the case. I would n...ot recommend Michael. He might be good for certain things but I don't think he is great and time and task management

Just stay away

very disappointing experience with Mr. Cataliotti. He filed my case late which was ultimately rejected.

Unprofessional and incompetent

I hired him for an immigration matter for one of our employees. He did not communicate very well on what he intended to deliver and I did not end up with the legal opinion that I needed after paying a hefty sum. When I contested him, he wasn't willing to help and instead blew me off. He will tell you... he'd bend over backward to help you before you pay him. Once you pay, he will treat you like a liability and provide poor service. Stay away from this lawyer.
