Biography
Gene M. Lerner is a commercial litigation / personal injury attorney whose practice primarily involves disputes concerning commercial contracts, creditor’s rights, insurance litigation and personal injury. His broad experience includes civil litigation, counterclaim defense, bankruptcy, mediation, and settlement negotiations. Importantly, he has extensive experience in amicably resolving complex commercial disputes.
Mr. Lerner currently represents a number of U.S. Fortune 500 companies as well as overseas clients in Europe and Asia, which include major shipping lines, insurance companies, leading U.S. financial institutions, and gaming casinos, in a wide range of matters concerning creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, breach of contract, subrogation and sales of goods disputes. Mr. Lerner also represents accident victims in personal injury matters throughout the New York, and New Jersey area.
Prior to joining STF&H, Mr. Lerner was a law clerk in the creditor’s rights department of a prominent New York law firm.
