I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Reza Mazaheri as my immigration lawyer, and I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to others seeking legal assistance. From the beginning, Mr. Mazaheri's representation was marred by financial discrepancies. I was charged a su...bstantial fee of $1000 for his presence during my citizenship interview, which I paid without hesitation. However, just four days before the interview, I was informed that there had been significant changes in his office, and I was required to send an additional $1000 for this "transition." This unexpected cost, for changes that were clearly the responsibility of his office, left me frustrated and confused. During the citizenship interview itself, it became apparent that Mr. Mazaheri's performance was far from satisfactory. He provided incorrect information to the immigration officer on multiple occasions, and it was evident that he was not actively listening during the session. This not only compromised the quality of his representation but also caused unnecessary stress and confusion during a crucial process. To make matters worse, Mr. Mazaheri charged me a total of $2000 for the session, despite the interview proceeding more smoothly than expected. While he later offered to refund $500 of the fees, his office has since been unresponsive to my attempts to discuss and process the refund, leaving me deeply unsatisfied with his services. In light of these issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend Reza Mazaheri as a lawyer to anyone seeking legal assistance. My experience with him has been marked by financial inconsistencies, subpar performance, and a complete lack of professionalism and communication. I sincerely hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale for those considering his services and encourages them to explore other options for their legal needs.

I held a student visa, I visa (journalist visa) for first 10 years and O1 visa (artist visa) for last 10 years. I was represented by other lawyer(s) before I met Reza and I’ve never been happy with any of those lawyers. Especially the last lawyer was nice in person but I’ve never been able to contact to them directly and his paralegal was like nightmare. I was so stress out every time when I extended Visa with them. I found Reza on this website while I was looking for a lawyer for my EB1-A (Green Card) process. First, I emailed his office, Sanjay contacted me and we spoke on the phone and he made me feel very confident about my case. Reza and his team including Sanjay paralegal other staffs are also amazing. After phone meeting, I had an appointment with Reza. My first impression about him was that he didn’t look like other stereotype of immigration lawyer. He was very calm, friendly and straightforward. I also explained about my husband who was holding TPS, asked possibility if I could file him as my dependent. He listened carefully said it’s not 100% guaranteed because TPS cases are more complicated but it would be worth try. My husband and I went back to his office and they explained the timeline, possibilities that might happen and attorney fee that we requested payment plan. We thought his fee was fair for the service. But later on, we realized that he did more than what we paid for …. The process was very smooth and everything was so easy with them. They prepared paperwork quickly. I used to have to write my own recommendation letters, ask signatures for artist visa by myself because my old lawyers wouldn’t do this. But with Reza, after I gave my contacts list to his paralegal, she communicated with them directly; all letters were ready within 2 months. He was very responsible; he made me feel like he was always available. Normally I contacted him via email, sometimes when he got really busy, he replied an email and said he was busy but would get back to me in few days when I asked no rush questions and he really did. He also gave me the phone number that I could reach in emergency case. I didn’t want to use it but I did once when my father in Japan was in critical condition. I had to go to Japan with emergency travel parole. Then I almost couldn’t take flight back to NYC at the domestic airport in Japan. The flight attendance told me that they never seen this kind of paper before so I couldn’t go through the gate. I was panicked and texted Reza while I didn’t even know what time it was in NYC. Then he replied my text in next moment. I explained everything, he said I should request them to contact to DHS. So I requested it to them then everything was fine, I could take a flight. I texted him and said “Thank you and Sorry” and he texted me back and said “Great. Don’t scare me :)”. Even before, he always concerned about my father’s health condition and understood my stress coming along from it. He made us surprise sometimes especially towards to the end of the process. At the last meeting before GC interview, I was telling him I was so nervous about the interview, he offered us a glass of Brandy, and I thought he was joking, and then he really brought us drinks. How cool is that? He even came to our GC interview, just because he worried about my husband TPS situation. We’ve never thought he would come to the interview… Then, we received GC right after that. While we were waiting response from USCIS, he was encouraging us, too. He is the greatest lawyer and human being! Now you know, why I highly recommend Reza Mazaheri for your immigration attorney. He is the best lawyer ever.

My Spouse and I came in for a consult regarding the greencard application and immigration process overall. We had so many questions and weren’t sure where to begin. The greencard application and process can be tricky and so we decided to hire Reza as our immigration lawyer. Reza made the process easy... by answering all our questions and by explaining the process in great detail. He was very responsive to our emails and worked with us and our busy schedules. Mr Reza is a very great lawyer Always there the talk to when I need him . My brother has been detained from ICE like 10 months ago and trust me the case was tough but from the very beginning Mr Reza told us he will do his best Unlike other lawyer that will tell you they will get him out and knowing ...that it’s a lie. Mr Reza even work with me on the price even offer me a payment a plan which was perfect for me since I’m a single mom and couldn’t do it alone. My brother was supposed to be out way before that but the government had find more records from a different state I really thought my brother was gonna get sent to haiti But first the Lord was present and Mr Reza was always there as well if it wasn’t for them two my brother wouldn’t be Out today Not only that he have his Green Card Back and starting a new life Thank you so much Mr Reza for all ur hard work
