He litigates cases involving unlawful debt-collection practices, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) violations, consumer fraud, Truth in Lending Act (TILA) violations, predatory lending, automobile fraud, wrongful repossessions, credit-reporting disputes, identity theft, and electronic fund transfer issues. He has argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and before the New York Court of Appeals. He has also been appointed class counsel in numerous national and statewide class actions certified in Illinois, New York, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia, and he is licensed to practice in the state courts in New York and California, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern, and Central Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third, Fourth, Seventh, and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
