Will not fight for what’s right. Takes the easy way.

Once Jordan had finished what he has considered his $1200 worth of work (without itemizing his work that equaled that amount) that I had pre-paid, he was no longer interested in doing much more. He simply wanted a no fuss, easy and fast case. He has raised his voice on the phone at me, threatened to ...no longer represent me due to my asking too many clarifying questions (since I have no legal expertise) and resents explaining legalese or the legal process. He does not explain settlement agreements and states, “Read this and let me know if you have any questions”. He was intimidated by my opponent’s lawyer by evidence of having backed down on every single point that the opposition refused to accept. He was only able to get what a more proactive lawyer called a “nuisance settlement”. He also allowed the opponent to be a week past the agreed upon date when delivering agreed upon files. I had to remind him! He made the mistake of going after a foundation instead of each person in question individually. He also did not entertain filing wrongful termination charges as he should have. When I lost my Medicaid insurance due to my opponent’s ineptitude of taking me off their health insurance five months prior, Jordan said he could not help me and suggested I “ask them nicely”. I had to get ANOTHER lawyer, who actually knew what he was doing, to pen a letter to my opponent, citing the law they were breaking in order to get ANY response from my opponent. Jordan is focused on having a volume of cases as opposed to actually fighting for what you deserve. He is not interested in obtaining justice and therefore, does NOT fight for it.

I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with my services and you feel I did not obtain the outcome you were looking for. Given that I obtained everything you were looking for when you first came to me (in addition to a monetary severance) and that I responded to your questions late at night and on weekends, I am saddened to hear that you feel I took the easy way out. I pride myself on the amount of attention I dedicate to each and every one of my clients, no matter the claim. Please let me know if you would like to have an off-line conversation so that I may hear from you directly about how I could have better served you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
