Amazing attorney!

Jordan Harlow is an amazing attorney. I hired him to represent me in a 3020a hearing, and felt extremely well-represented. One of the most nerve-wracking aspect of these hearings is that you have no idea what the arbitrator will hear, filtering from all sides as he (ours was a man) must, and how he ...will weigh what he does hear. I think Jordan brought just the right details to the arbitrator's attention and emphasized precisely what he wanted the arbitrator to weigh, while also undermining the salient details that DoE attorneys hoped to highlight. The result was wonderful. The process was also wonderful in that it was inclusive and professional. Jordan worked together with me all the way through to prepare the case, and consulted with me on small details as well as large questions of strategy and tactics. I felt he got to know me as a teacher and as a person. This was very important to me, as I felt that my very integrity was under question by my employer. Jordan became my reassurance as we came to know each other. He was comfortable including my wife in our preparations, and showed consideration of her input and her concerns, alongside my own. Jordan knows all the players in the circus of the 3020a world, DoE attorneys, arbitrators and others- either personally or by reputation, and he seemed to take this knowledge into consideration as we prepared, without relying on it too strongly. Jordan's presence in the hearing was even more important. His confidence was easy, but never cocky. His tone was even and cool, even when the DoE attorneys were edgy and rude. He helped me stay calm as I heard myself insulted, my professionalism assaulted. Jordan was also extremely well-prepared, and had analyzed my case with a keenness that I was very glad for. The most exciting example of this came in his cross examination of the principal who testified against me. Jordan caught her in several lies, and made her admit to them. There was justice in those moments. The greatest testimony to Jordan's expertise as a lawyer in his representation of me in this case is that I was exonerated of all charges. This is fitting as all charges were bogus. Jordan made this obvious to the arbitrator. I continue to work Jordan on a PERB case and would work with him again and again. I highly recommend Jordan Harlow.
