If you want a tenacious, brilliant legal scholar and strategist on your side, then I'm your lawyer.
I had the ultimate honor of the United States Supreme Court accepting my civil rights case in Florence v Burlington County et al. My work led to a United States Supreme Court decision providing more robust protections for prison reform.
In 2018, I changed over 25 years of legal precedent for employee rights under Title VII in New York's Federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Christiansen v Omnicom (Anonymous v Omnicom). Chief Justice Katzmann's concurring opinion agreed with me that their law needed to be reversed, which occured soon after.
My clients include Judges, Senators, Assembly Members, Mayors and local council members. I have been called on to provide my skills to the Department of Justice and numerous Attorneys General.
My cases garnered the support of 128 Members of Congress, the ACLU, Attorneys General and former State Supreme Court Judges, to name a few.
In between my busy litigation and appeals schedule, I volunteer my legal skills to animal shelters, rescues and legislators nationwide to protect the welfare of dogs and help shut down Puppy Mills.
I also volunteer my time drafting legislation and bills for Senators and Assemblymen in New York, New Jersey and elsewhere for civil rights , family law and animal rights causes.
Some of my sommendation letters and awards from United States Assemblyman and Ranking Member Elijah Cummings and others are at https://appellate-brief.com/commendations/
My purpose is to bring positive changes in people's lives, and create a better operating and more fair court system for everyone. In a word-justice!
