Susan Chana Lask filed the first private action against New York's worst Foreclosure Mill, and was the only attorney to sound the alarm that citizens were being thrown out of their homes based on fraud ... ulent filings. After gaining a substantial settlement, the NY Attorney General, USDOJ and the US Senate had her assist them to shut down the Baum Foreclosure Mill for good. Susan Chana Lask won the first civil rights class action in New Jersey for prison reform against strip searching. When the counties appealed, she was the only attorney took the issue to the United Sta ... tes Supreme Court and they heard the case. She obtained a favorable Supreme Court decision decision explaining when strip searches can occur, although her client Albert Florence of New Jersey was found not worthy of the protection because he had a felony arrest history.
