Geoffrey G. Gussis

I’m a business attorney and technology attorney for New Jersey and New York businesses. My primary areas of practice are structuring, negotiating and documenting business and technology transactions, and advising companies on a wide range of day to day corporate and business issues. I have worked in both in-house and large law firm environments, having served as General Counsel of an Internet services provider and as a business and technology attorney for over ten years with one of New Jersey’s largest law firms. I received a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where I was an Associate Editor of the Law Review. My law review note, “Website Development Agreements: A Guide to Planning and Drafting,” was reprinted in Bowne Publishing’s “The Best in Ecommerce Law” and in several CLE publications. I was named as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers Magazine. In my free time, I serve as the Managing Editor of , a blog for in-house counsel with over 12,500 subscribers, which was selected as a Top 100 Blawg by the ABA Journal (2008), nominated as a Top Business Law Blog by LexisNexis (2010), and selected as Runner Up for the Best Practice-Specific Blawg in the 2011 and 2013 Blawggie Awards, and which won such awards in 2014 and 2015.

I am a member of the New Brunswick Bar Association and the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey
