Biography
I am very blessed to be a lawyer. Every day I know I make a difference in the lives of those people who trust their matters to me and my firm. I take that duty very, very seriously, and I get enormous personal satisfaction from helping our clients reach their objectives.
I am certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, and also a member of the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Established in 1993, membership in the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
I am proud to have again been selected to the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers and to have been selected every year since 2006 marking 2025 my 20th consecutive year of selection. I earned and have maintained the highest rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell and have also earned a Client Gold rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
I am admitted to practice in all New Jersey Courts, U.S. District Courts, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. I'm a member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association and chair of its Bench/Bar Liaison and Unauthorized Practice of Law Committees. I also serve on the Civil Practice committee and as a commentator at the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). Previously, I taught trial practice to lawyers as an Adjunct Faculty Member of Hofstra University School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Program with The National Institute for Trial Advocacy Program. I am an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association with the New Jersey Courts. Additionally, I have been appointed by the Court as a Discovery Master in complex contentious litigation.

Replied last October 23, 2013It is unfortunate that you feel this way, and I wish you would have spoken to me about your issues so I could have addressed them for you. We take the opinion of our clients very seriously and work extremely hard at our firm to meet the needs and expectations of each and every client. The attorneys at my firm and I make a significant effort to reach an amicable resolution in every family dispute at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, there are cases where the parties choose to disagree about many issues and court intervention is then required to settle the disputes. I caution strongly against proceeding this way, but if the parties cannot agree, we prepare diligently and fight hard to win every issue in court. I agree that $30,000.00 is a great deal of money, and it is unfortunate that your divorce required such a significant amount of work. However, if the parties cannot agree on any issues and court intervention, mediation, or arbitration is required to settle issues regarding custody arrangements, financial investigations, equitable distribution of property and numerous other contentious issues for which the client requests our services to fight for his/her position, the cost of the divorce will be higher. We do send our clients a statement each month, so they are fully aware of the costs as their case proceeds and can make decisions accordingly. It is and will continue to be the practice of each attorney at The Rotolo Law Firm to advise and guide clients to compromise and reach an amicable resolution without significant costs, but we stand ready to fight hard if our client wishes us to protect what is important to him/her.
