I am an attorney who works closely with clients to provide quality and effective legal representation. Prior to opening my practice I completed a one-year fellowship with the Rutgers Law Associates. The mission of the Rutgers Law Associates Fellowship Program is to serve residents of New Jersey by providing affordable representation to those who did not qualify for Legal Services of New Jersey, but whose income made market rate legal services out of reach. It was a privilege to to work with my alma mater and an underserved community. My focus while with the Program was Family Law and that continues to be the focus of my current practice. I understand that many of my clients are coming to me at one of the most stressful times in their lives. I alleviate that stress by quickly addressing questions and concerns and providing effective counsel. I do my best to facilitate the resolution of matters outside of the courts through the use of negotiations, mediation, and arbitration. I help negotiate lasting settlements that will provide for their and their children's best interests. When court action is necessary, I advocate fiercely for my client's interests at all stages of the proceeding. I am experienced in all matters related to divorce and separation, including equitable distribution, custody and parenting time, and post judgement applications. In addition to my dedication to the practice of family law, I am committed to my community. I am currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Middlesex County Bar Association, and the Association of Black Women Lawyers.
