Michael Robert Rosas prides himself in representing individuals and businesses in criminal and administrative prosecutions and investigations in New York and New Jersey. He is a trial attorney and has tried criminal and civil matters successfully to verdict. He has tried criminal matters ranging from DWI charges to Murder.

Mr. Rosas has represented clients who were the target of long-term investigations and charged with Racketeering, Conspiracy, Larceny, Embezzlement, Tax Violations, and other criminal violations.

Mr. Rosas gained significant trial experience while serving as an Assistant District Attorney for the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office in New York City. Afterwards, Mr. Rosas further developed those trial skills by serving as appointed counsel in Mercer County, New Jersey, for those charged with murder and other violent criminal offenses.

In 2018, Mr. Rosas was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the District Ethics Committee for Middlesex County (DEC VIII) for a four-year term. The District Ethics Committee acts as the investigative and prosecutorial arm of the Supreme Court in discharging the Court's constitutional responsibility to supervise and discipline New Jersey attorneys. Committee members are charged with conducting investigations and hearings in order to determine both the facts and the law surrounding grievances related to possible violations of attorney ethics rules or the law.

Prior to forming Rosas & Cirigliano, Mr. Rosas formed The Law Office of Michael Robert Rosas, in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He started his career at a boutique Newark, New Jersey law firm where he handled criminal and civil rights matters in State and Federal court. He counseled various clients, including municipal clients, through the business investigation and internal investigation process. With this experience, Mr. Rosas represents individuals employed by the government, such as teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other government employees facing criminal charges.

Victory!!!

This man is beyond amazing!

In one Friday night, I had the ultimate nightmare scenario which resulted in a car accident, an injured police officer, and me being charged with drinking and driving plus more, and sitting in a cell for the entire weekend. Imagine that. I didn't know what to do, fortunately for me, I found Michael Rosas. This guy literally saved my job and helped me to return back to living my life. Ultimately he got the charges knocked down to only disorderly conduct, from what I was facing before that's a big difference. At first, when he told me that it was possible I didn't believe it, but I’m a living witness to how amazing, calm, collected, and intelligent this man is. Excellent Lawyer very knowledgable of all details within my case

Mr. Rosas was able to get me minimums of all charges when i was dead to right with just about everything i was being charged for. Most charges were dropped and i got the minimums of fines and license suspension. He had gotten this because of a rule or etiquette i was not aware of where the officer had filed the paperwork within a 20 minute period. Thanks to Mr. Rosas i can get back to my normal everyday life and am able to get around with my license.

DWI dismissal

First of all i want to express my gratitude from bottom of my heart, for taking care of my DWI case which concluded with a dismissal. Review of Michael Rosas

Last year I was arrested on minor possession charges and didn't know what was going to be the outcome of my mistakes. I was referred to Michael through a family friend and reached out to him in order to gain more information on the type of case I was about to be facing, and to also ask for his help in giving me the best possible defense. He walked me through all of the options and facts in front of me and made sure I knew what all of them led to before making a decision on how to proceed, doing so very honestly and professionally. Mr.. Rosas also helped get us both a better court date that would fit into both of our schedules since we were both very busy at the time of the first appointed date. After all was said and done, Michael helped me apply for a conditional discharge and also made sure that I knew what the terms of this decision meant for my future if anything were to come up again. Michael was very helpful, informative, and straight forward throughout the whole legal process, even meeting with me the week before the final court date to ensure my decision hadn't changed and to restate all of the possibilities. I would definitely recommend Michael Rosas to anyone seeking criminal defense as he was instrumental in my past year moving forward from my offense.

Comfortable & easy

M.Rosas helped my dad in a DUI situation. He did accomplish our goal, he made us feel comfortable & safe to put this case in his hands. I feel like nobody should put a budget on their attorney's. Arrested for Stolen Property - Rosas helped prove my innocence and clear my name

Rosas helped me when I was in a tight spot - bought a new car - car dealer placed bad plates. Next thing you know, I was pulled over and arrested for possession of stolen property. This came as a shock - especially because I had no idea what was going on. Mike calmed my nerves and aggressively contacted the prosecutors office. A few days before I was to appear in court- my prosecutor declined to prosecute. Mike Rosas helped prove my innocence and got me out of a huge mess. Highly recommend. He is always reachable and keeps you in the loop while your case is progress . Can't recommend enough.

Criminal case dismissal

This was my first arrest and Michael made it very easy process for me to go through and got my criminal case to dismiss.
