Anne Buckley-Johnson was highly recommended to me by two fellow veterans. I reached out to Anne and she very patiently took over an hour on the phone to hear what I believed were the merits of my case and claims with the VA. For the entire phone call one thing came through to me loud and clear. T...his lady really truly cares that veterans are treated fairly and properly by the Veterans Administration. At all times she reacted with empathy not sympathy. This was very important to me. It showed me that she really understood what hurdles and obstacles that veterans are faced with. I agreed to retain the Buckley-Johnson law firm but more importantly Anne agreed to exclusively represent me from start to finish. Through out this process Anne did all the work and did all the heavy lifting. There was very little required on my part. In September 2020 my case was reviewed by the BVA and based on the supporting documents that Anne submitted to support my claims I was awarded almost everything that I felt I was entitle to with full retroactive ruling back to my original claim date. I was awarded 80% disability both retroactively and going forward. Anne immediately told me that she felt that although we won the battle we did not win it entirely. Anne is now in the process of appealing my 80% award as being under rated. Again she is doing all the paper work and leg work that is involved in the appeal process. As a further show of Anne's commitment to helping veterans Anne has agreed to represent my brother. His case has been dragging on for 21 years!! It might be a very difficult case to win. Anne is spending her time and efforts on this difficult case fully knowing that there might not be a positive outcome. To me this shows dedication and commitment to the men and women that have given so much for our great country.
