Excellent Lawyer
I highly recommend Mr. John Sheehy. He helped me close a deal on my new house. Mr. Sheehy is very knowledgeable and very easy to get in contact with whenever I had a question. He is very organized, helpful and compassionate. Mr. Sheehy made my closing transaction run very smoothly. I would use him again if I need a lawyer and would refer him to my friends and family.

A compassionate lawyer
Mr Sheehy was professional, compassionate and thorough. He worked with us to get information we needed and got charges reduced. Mr. Sheehy maintained contact with us often until we met at court.

Waste of $.. Sadly
I do not even know where to start. I have been in a very troubled marriage for 9 yrs with MANY domestic violence issues. I finally had enough . I was referred to Mr. Sheehy by one of the officers who had come to my home during a violent occurrence with my husband. I had filed a restraining order that same evening. Furthermore, i already had an attorney i had done my " homework " on and had extremely high ratings from her clients. Unfortunatly i went with john because i needed financial assistance from my dad and his rate was a bit less. Well needless to say you get what you pay for. My husband ended up hiring my " first" pick of an attorney. John represented me in my restraining order case.. However, i can not even call it that. He did nothing! I had a pile of paperwork of previous DV occurences, harrasement charges officers had filed against my husband and john advised me not to show the presiding judge. The judge said " council do you have anything to add?" He was shaky and nervous and basically left me on a ship without ores. Oh i forgot to mention he made numerous mistakes in my certification ( testimony) to judge. Wrong dates with wrong events. So basically i looked like i was not credible after i spoke. Furthermore, same thing in my divorce papers. Lastly, he was not at all personable or accessible. I always got a VM and lucky if he called back the same day. When i did speak with him he seemed irritated, always in a rush and would CONSTANTLY say" the longer i am discussing this ( whatever it may be) you are running up my time and before you know you will run out of your retainer. Well of course i lost the restraining order case and my husbands lawyer actually commented on his very poor inability to perform in court and told my husband she truly felt bad for me. I ..in the end decided to give my husband 3 months ( as he pleaded) to get the help he needed for his issues. John said this would not be a problem I already paid for the filing etc. and papers are goid for 6 mths. Unfortunately, a little over one month it was right back where it was and i told john to proceed. Mind you i had just filed.. This was 34 days later. John said " ok you need to replenish your retainer of $3,000 and i will proceed! WHAT!!!!! STAY AWAY. Even more callous was the fact that i was informed of this in a letter! Please do your research and find a professional.
