Daniel E. Berger grew up in Toms River, New Jersey with an affinity for the practice of law. During high school, he worked as a courier in a large local law firm called Hiering, Grasso, Gelzer and Kelaher. As time progressed, he went to college and would continue to work there when he was back in town.

Upon graduating in 1984, Daniel E. Berger was admitted to the New Jersey Bar. During the 1980s and 1990s he prosecuted in most, if not all, of the municipalities in Ocean County. In 1985, as an associate with Hiering and Hoffman, he prosecuted in Seaside Heights. In 1986, he prosecuted in Toms River and Lacey Township. For many years thereafter, Daniel very often filled in for the regular prosecutor in many of the municipalities in Ocean County and some Monmouth County municipalities.

For more than the last 20 years, Daniel E. Lost in jackson

I recently had been pulled over where I had my truck impounded and received 6 tickets in the mail. After getting my truck back , I had postponed the court date to find a good lawyer, after rejecting other local attorneys, I talked to Mr Berger I felt very comfortable with him and I felt I was in reli...able hands. Everything worked out well at the end, 4 tickets were dropped and 2 were lowered. The fines were minimal and fare. I would highly recommend Mr Berger, he is honest , well spoken , and very professional

Friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced

Daniel Berger did a fantastic job representing me in traffic court. He took care of rescheduling my court date, preparing me for my appearance, and working out plea deal that saved me time, money, and points on my license (I ended up paying a small fine which was more than reasonable). He also answer...ed all of my questions throughout the process and was very responsive and easy to reach. Would recommend!

Driving court ticket

Mr Bergen repasded me excellent in my court case with his experience and knowledge of this matter I would have lost my license to drive if it wasn't for him knowledge he let me know of my options and the consequences of my actions in the future if I am in this situation again I'll be letting him repa...sded me then also because Mr Bergen was persistent my case was respected to me and the court if not for that I might have lost my driving pervagaves for 30 to 90 days witch I'm unable to afford

Speeding ticket

Dan was great. He explained what my son was facing as far as fines and what the courts were going to do. He always asked my son if he understood what he was saying and if he had any questions. He was available to us for questions at all times. He was able to get the ticket downgraded.
