Outstanding Lawyer, Best Possible Outcome!

Mark H. Jaffe is more than just a lawyer; he became my friend. He was there for me. He cared and got involved and helped me accomplish my goals. To my friends and family and anyone in need of legal services, I would highly recommend Mark. I couldn't have been more pleased with the help and council he... provided. A+!

Mark H. Jaffe, trusted esquire

I have had an attorney-client relationship with Mark Jaffe for almost a year. Not only is he a diligent, hardworking lawyer, but Mark cares about the people he is responsible for. He helped me with a minor traffic case during my senior year in high school in New Jersey. Now, even though I am hundreds... of miles away in college in Ohio he still serves as a consistent, open line of legal help. I called Mark from jail at one in the morning months after I had contacted him last and sure enough he was ready to help. Mark is a friend and an ally for anyone who needs representation. I wish him the best of luck and I would recommend his expert services to anyone.

Hardworking, detail-oriented advocate with great customer service. Highly recommended!

In short, it MATTERS who you choose to represent you in a court. In retrospect, this statement is self-evident, but I learned this fact the hard way. After receiving a significant speeding ticket, I hired a large firm out of the phonebook. I chose poorly. The attorney (who I’d never spoken to) wa...s late to court, unprepared to negotiate, was unfamiliar with the facts of my case, and did not advocate strongly on my behalf. It was at that point that I parted ways with this firm and hired Mark Jaffe. I chose wisely! My experience with Mark couldn’t have been more opposite of that described above. Mark and his staff (MarShawn and Zafar) are as competent, courteous, and professional as you could ever hope for. In addition to his staff, Mark himself is easily accessible and was heavily engaged in every detail of my case. The high level of involvement in my case empowered Mark to negotiate aggressively on my behalf and as a result Mark was able to secure a much more favorable outcome than had been originally proposed by the first firm I hired. If you are looking for an attorney who is detail-oriented, easily accessible with a knowledgable staff, and who will work tirelessly to secure the best outcome possible, then retain the services of Mark Jaffe. I would work with Mark again at the drop of a hat.

Professional and effective attorney with personal attention and meticulous attention to detail

My parents recommended Mark Jaffe to me and I was completely happy with the work he did. Mark is a top notch attorney who was able to adeptly maneuver the local legal system and get an extremely favorable resolution for my legal entanglement. It's clear that Mark has a firm grasp of the law, as well ...as an open minded view on his clients. Mark had a friendly and familiar rapport with the local prosecutor and judge, and appeared well respected within that community. My entire experience working with Mark was positive, reasonably priced and ultimately successful, with him keeping me updating and communicating regularly. I would recommend using Mark Jaffe if you fell into a situation in which you required legal counsel.

Excellent responsive attorney

I recently had a matter in the local municipal court and as I live out of the state, I began a search for an attorney. I researched attorneys in the area to represent me in court as I would be unable to attend the hearing due to logistics. I found Mark Jaffe a defense attorney with over 25 years’ e...xperience (former prosecutor) and skill set to represent me. I called Mark, and within a few minutes he was on the phone with me. I instantly knew that I wanted him to represent me in this matter. I explained the situation and Mark was quick to inform me that he would be happy to represent me. He instilled a sense of confidence in me; he was intelligent, genuine, and honest. He was confident that he would resolve this situation in a favorable manner for me. He told me his no hassle fee for his legal representation and reassured me he could have the summons reduced to a lesser violation with no points. He gave me the exact cost of the lesser violation and what the court cost would be in this situation. He explained what he would need from me to have him represent me. He immediately sent out an affidavit and asked that I return it faxed to his attention along with a note stating why I couldn’t attend court in person (a protocol of the court). He told me to relax; he would handle everything and stay in communication with me. He stressed the value of customer service and explained who his legal staff was, when best to reach him or his staff and gave me the office telephone number, fax number and even his cell number. He stressed the point that I had accessibility to him and/or his staff at any time and not to hesitate to call with any questions. He was right. Any time I called I was taken care of immediately and Mark always followed up with me to make sure I was comfortable. I was, quite frankly, blown away by his customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism. And yes, Mark did resolve my summons to a lesser violation, I received no points and the summons fee and court costs were exactly as he had stated. Mark is an excellent attorney and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2022.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2012

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
