Traffic Violation Defense

Attorney Jaffe was superb in his representation. The ultimate professional, Attorney Jaffe was extremely comfortable in the court room and clearly well known and respected by court personnel, He was easy to communicate with and made the entire legal process easy to understand, He set forth all option...s clearly and took the time to explain not only the advantages and consequences of each, but also to ensure that my questions and concerns were answered in detail to my complete satisfaction. While Attorney Jaffe offered specific advice as to which option he strongly recommended, he also indicated that it was my decision and that he would do his best to achieve the option that I chose. Trusting in Attorney Jaffe's expertise, experience and judgment, I followed his advice. As a result, my day in court proceeded exactly as he advised and the result was excellent, exceeding my expectation.

The Right Attorney for Me and you too!

What do you want in an attorney? Talk to Mark Jaffe I found the attorney I wanted in Mark Jaffe. I needed an attorney who cared enough to help me win my case. Right away Mark made me feel very confident that he could win my case. Beyond that I found Mark to be a thoughtful, dynamic, compassio...nate, highly intelligent and caring person. My experience with other attorneys had left me extremely discouraged and disheartened. Not one cared enough to listen or ask, for that matter about the details of my situation. They never asked if I wanted to try to win my case or just plead, pay and let it go. They took my retainer check, and said see you in court. No calls to discuss my case. No questions regarding the case. No concerns about how I wanted to proceed. Mark was always available to me. He checked in just about every day. Mark offered legal options that I never knew I had. Mark’s advice and courtroom experience won my case. Finally, Mark is an attorney who loves helping his clients. Mark cares about the people he represents. I recommend Mark to all my friends as the best attorney in the Princeton area. So if this is what you want in attorney then talk to Mark Jaffe. I only wish I had done it sooner.

Mark Jaffe is an attorney who is motivated by a desire to help people

When selecting an attorney, there are certain qualities to look out for. Qualities such as intellect, amiability and charisma are critical for the successful litigator, and as such their presence of lack thereof should be considered when choosing representation . Many attorneys exhibit such traits, a...nd so does Mark Jaffe. However, in this day and age, qualities such as these are no longer the exception, they are the rule, and as such are simply not enough. With so many lawyers to choose from, one must look for qualities which are not generally attributed to lawyers; altruism, selflessness, kinship and forthrightness. This is where Mr. Jaffe excels, because unlike so many of his colleagues he is driven by a deep and genuine desire to help people. His dedication to his clients is staggering. He goes to great lengths to make himself available. He looks upon his clients as not only clients, but friends and fellow people who deserve respect. He will never promise results that he cannot deliver. This is why Mr. Jaffe stands apart from the multitudes of lawyers who are simply employing their intellect in the pursuit of material gain. Mr. Jaffes wealth comes in the form of experience, and his 20+ years of practicing law has allowed him to foster positive working relationships with his colleagues in the courts and law enforcement agencies. I feel compelled to write this endorsement because my life has been touched by Mr. Jaffe. I am eternally grateful to him for navigating the courts and finding an amenable solution to problems which would have otherwise been nearly insurmountable. Please consider my words when wading through the quagmire of letters, ads, reviews and appraisals which regrettably accompany the selection process.

Thought I had no hope in my case...'til I met Mark Jaffe.

Given my circumstances, I thought I had absolutely no hope with all evidence not necessarilly working in my favor and Princeton having a seemingly conservative view on judging cases like mine. With just two days to prepare, Mark Jaffe and his associates achieved the best-case scenario that I could p...ossibly find and all done in an expediant fashion. I highly recommend Mark for any case you may have to gear up for.

He listens to what you're saying, and he knows what to do

No matter what your legal issue, in the end, as a client, you want a fair and just resolution. It all begins with your lawyer--the one who will represent you before the judge. Mark has an amazing talent to hear your story and get it, right away. You do not have to tell your story 3 or 4 times. He und...erstands immediately. He does not get confused, he does not forget details, he knows your story, he remembers your story; he is simply a great listener and has a great memory. And he will be sympathetic--you know immediately that he is on your side and that he is going to represent you and your interests in the best way, and he will be a strong advocate for you. Once you tell him your story, he will figure out a strategy for that story to get heard in court, so that your issues may be dealt with fairly. He thinks about issues from many different angles, and tries to figure out the strategy that will work best in your circumstances, with your judge, with your case details, on this day and month, with these extenuating circumstances, etc. I was simply so impressed with the wealth of background knowledge that he brings to cases--issues, personalities (judge, DA, court clerks), everything. Kind of amazing to watch this guy in action. He does it effortlessly. I cannot imagine a person I'd rather have in my corner in court.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
