I am very happy that I selected Mark H. Jaffe Esq. to represent me in a t matter in Princeton that was resolved today! Mark presented himself to me as an exceptionally competent individual who for me personally did an excellent job - as my lawyer! I am not one to post negative reviews, but he literally did not show up to my court date after confirming multiple times the day before and day of. I did not think he was in the (virtual) court and contacted his assistant who confirmed that he was. He was not, and the judge had to inform me when I wa...s the last person in court. Needless to say, I did not work with him after that. He is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. He would contact me without notice at crazy hours (I.e. texting me at midnight) and tried to get me to do his work for him (I.e. contacting police departments to get information or talk to police officers/prosecutors). I definitely do not recommended and had a horrible, anxiety-inducing experience.

Dear Mark, Let me first start by saying thank you for representing me today. When I first received the summons to appear in court I was so depressed and scared and willing to accept a guilty plea. However, when I received your letter amongst 6 other ones yours stood out because it was personalize...d. That alone told me that you wanted to help me not like the other computer generated letters from other firms. Your eagerness to help and dedication to your profession is impressive. I hate to say I sat on those letters until 4 days before the court date but again that was the state of mind I was in. When I called you on Monday 8/5 and you said you had court at 11am I just assumed you were not available but then you surprised me and said I will be there for you. Then another surprise was when I emailed you at 11:45 on Tuesday 8/6 and asked to meet and you said come in at 1pm which was right before another court appearance you had. All this and you arrived at my court appearance before anyone else to give me the best representation I could have asked for. I said you had to perform a miracle and I believe you have. The outcome was nothing I thought it was going to be. I assumed I would have paid an arm and leg in fines but with your assistance I walked out with minimum fines and charges dismissed. It was obvious that the persecutor and the judge had the utmost respect for you and I am sure that is why they heard my case first. Mark, you are an asset to the legal system and I would recommend your services to anyone who I know that are in need of legal services. In short, it MATTERS who you choose to represent you in a court. In retrospect, this statement is self-evident, but I learned this fact the hard way. After receiving a significant speeding ticket, I hired a large firm out of the phonebook. I chose poorly. The attorney (who I’d never spoken to) wa...s late to court, unprepared to negotiate, was unfamiliar with the facts of my case, and did not advocate strongly on my behalf. It was at that point that I parted ways with this firm and hired Mark Jaffe. I chose wisely! My experience with Mark couldn’t have been more opposite of that described above. Mark and his staff (MarShawn and Zafar) are as competent, courteous, and professional as you could ever hope for. In addition to his staff, Mark himself is easily accessible and was heavily engaged in every detail of my case. The high level of involvement in my case empowered Mark to negotiate aggressively on my behalf and as a result Mark was able to secure a much more favorable outcome than had been originally proposed by the first firm I hired. If you are looking for an attorney who is detail-oriented, easily accessible with a knowledgable staff, and who will work tirelessly to secure the best outcome possible, then retain the services of Mark Jaffe.
