LIKE A BOSS

Mark Jaffe is a tremendous lawyer and a great person in general. When times were tough for me, he was there to calm me down and work out a game plan for reaching a favorable outcome with my case. It was the first time I'd ever faced criminal charges and with Mark's help, everything went better than e...xpected and I got off with merely a fine and a payment plan. Things could have gone far worse for me and I'm glad I had Mark for a lawyer. He is accountable, professional, and affable in everything he does. I would recommend him to others in a tight spot with the law and I would use him again.

The Right Attorney for Me and you too!

What do you want in an attorney? Talk to Mark Jaffe I found the attorney I wanted in Mark Jaffe. I needed an attorney who cared enough to help me win my case. Right away Mark made me feel very confident that he could win my case. Beyond that I found Mark to be a thoughtful, dynamic, compassio...nate, highly intelligent and caring person. My experience with other attorneys had left me extremely discouraged and disheartened. Not one cared enough to listen or ask, for that matter about the details of my situation. They never asked if I wanted to try to win my case or just plead, pay and let it go. They took my retainer check, and said see you in court. No calls to discuss my case. No questions regarding the case. No concerns about how I wanted to proceed. Mark was always available to me. He checked in just about every day. Mark offered legal options that I never knew I had. Mark’s advice and courtroom experience won my case. Finally, Mark is an attorney who loves helping his clients. Mark cares about the people he represents. I recommend Mark to all my friends as the best attorney in the Princeton area. So if this is what you want in attorney then talk to Mark Jaffe. I only wish I had done it sooner.

Great honest lawyer in Princeton

Mark was a great lawyer for me. He was able to get the criminal charges against me (which were absurd, naturally) dismissed and virtually erased from the public record. He really is there whenever you need him, very literally. All weekend. All night. I first called him monday during the day and he ar...ranged to meet me after work at 9:00PM (!) that very night to discuss my case. Perhaps my favorite thing about working with Mark is that he is not a phony corporate type. He's a real person who will be real and honest with you. Highly recommended.

The Best Hands Down!!!!!

Mark H. Jaffe- is an excellent lawyer. I first met Mark after graduation from high school 15 years ago and he did a great job of representing me! Being from Princeton I knew him to be one of the most hard working dedicated persons that I have ever met. I have recommended him to my brother and countle...ss friends. They are have voiced approval of the results and work he did. Mark is a very loyal person to those he is entrusted to help and a lawyer who works tirelessly to help people who need a advocate who cares and who is expert at knowing how to be successful in Court. Recently - my son was falsely accused and I sought out Mark again to help defend my son. I was very troubled by this accusation and I knew my son was telling the truth. Mark was a sold rock of strength as he stood his ground and refused to let the state railroad my son. The charge was very serous and after months of contesting the charges - the Prosecutor gave in and the original charge was dismissed. The final outcome was acceptable and reasonable to both me and my son - who was very comfortable with Mark's careful , compassionate and considerate manner. He is a superb lawyer and a lawyer who i admire. He is usually at his office almost every day of the week and he provided me with a lot of access to him. He was generous with the time he spent on my son's case just as he had for me 15 years ago. Mark is a good soul who I have seen him with good people and who has had to deal with a lot of bad folks. Mark does not judge but tries his best to befriend his clients= both those worthy of his attention and care and perhaps those who are not. He also deals with a lot of dWI clients such as the one below who I know plead guilty to DWI and who who I know ( I have seen him ) was unemployed and wanted a position at his law office(!) So he is bitter and wants to blame others for his bad behavior that he later admitted to () ...and that is evident. I - As a friend ( who knows him very well, client, and someone who endorses Mark and his work 100% - I needed to voice my praise for Mark - A fine decent and very devoted lawyer. You are making the right choice in choosing him. I have known of his excellent work for over 16 years! I stand as do thousands of clients he has represented over the last 25 years in supporting Mark We are lucky he is here for us. He is a true gentleman.

Outstanding service

Mr. Jaffe handled two cases for me. The first in Plainsboro and the second in North Brunswick. In both cases he was always very professional and kept me well informed.

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2022.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2012

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
