Plainsboro Adult/Underage DWI and Reckless Driving

I am 20 years old and I had a .05 BAC reading. I was charged with a regular DWI, underage DWI, and Reckless Driving. I went straight to Mark and he told me that it would not be tough for him to fight off the adult DWI and reckless, but it would be pretty hard to prove the underage considering I told ...the officer I had a few drinks. We sent a lot of emails to each other and met weekly and he was able to get the adult DWI and reckless driving from my record so I just had to pay a small fine for the underage DWI and my insurance rates did not increase. Not only do you get your legal work done when you hire Mark, you also make a friend. When you are at his office, he gets work done and he makes a lot of side conversation so you do not get bored. He makes everything interesting for you and says a lot of random but interesting facts which makes the trip to his office worth going to.

Fantastic service, would definitely recommend

Mark explained from the get-go that his clients are like family, and it's true; the man is literally available at any hour, day or night, and he takes a vested personal interest in each case. I honestly do not know how the man does it, especially without coffee. He kept me informed of everything ...that was going on from start to finish (the matter involved was a speeding ticket in Princeton, NJ), and kept me appraised of the options available to me. We decided to go with a plea bargain for no license points. Could not possibly be more grateful for his help.

Always there

Received a pts summons for a minor traffic accident and called Mark based on a recommendation. Glad I did! Mark was in constant contact with me any time I needed him and he kept me up to date on my case throughout a drawn out process. Found Mark to be very professional and his experience with the W...est Windsor Court proved to be invaluable. Excellent results--no points on my record.

An Advocate For You

Sometimes in life we need an advocate; someone who is willing to seek out our best interests, who will represent us when we are ourselves are no longer qualified to do so. Coming before a Judge in the Municipal Court of North Brunswick Township, proved to be such a time for me. Granted, lawyers are b...y profession required to do this, and as such are also duly compensated. One might conclude therefore, that legal representation via an attorney is more about business than personal friendship, more concerned with the bottom line rather than the individual, and I am sure that this is true for many in the profession. However, just as there are medical doctors who have entered into practice primarily for prestige and money, there are also those who were inspired by a different muse -the desire to heal and benefit others. Similarly, I learned through this experience that there are attorneys whose main joy in their legal work is the ability to help out others in need. Mr. Jaffe is a man who enjoys being an advocate for people primarily because he values them. He understands the law, and he understands the needs of the client, but what stands out in his effort, is that he values the relationship of the client more. In this regard, he views the client as a personal friend, and is able to identify with and sympathize with the client’s predicament. As such, he is able to represent the client’s needs as his own when he is before the Court, the Prosecutor and the Judge. More than this, he continues to include the individual in his life even after the legal matters have been resolved. I found Mr. Jaffe’s knowledge with regard to legal Traffic Court matters to be excellent, both in regards to the law and in regards to the staff of the Court. His insight into both, especially the Court’s personnel proved most effective in my final outcome.

Law & Order at its finest!

Mark was an excellent lawyer! He did a great job helping me out. I was going double the legal speed limit and he was able to help me get off with a clean slate! He is a very available person and makes an effort to get to know his client. I went in for a pre-trial conference with him a few days before... the trial date and he gave me his time and really helped me understand what was going to happen and he guaranteed that he would be able to help me out. He also has a great staff and everyone in the office, from Mark to all of his staff members are good-humored and fun to talk to. He works late hours and makes himself available to his clients, he's there when they need him. I would strongly recommend Mark to anyone for any problems! I can testify to the fact that he can definitely help you out! Mark is my lawyer for life and if anything goes wrong I know who to call up to help me out!

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2022.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2012

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
