Professional, Hard-working, Compassionate

Traveling to work one morning, I rear-ended the car in front of me. Luckily, it was a minor accident, but I received a summons, anyway. Taking care of an elderly parent out of state, and job stress...the accident was the last thing I needed to have happened. In the mail, I soon received lots of ads f...rom lawyers offering to help. I chose Mr. Jaffe's because of the experience he said he had in the court system. Not knowing what to expect, I made an appointment and met with him. I was a nervous wreck, but Mr. Jaffe immediately reassured me that everything would be fine. He answered all of my questions and explained exactly what was going to happen each step of the way. Mr. Jaffe was available to me 24/7 and responded to e-mails and phone calls moments after they were sent/made.I was very impressed! My day at court went very smoothly. Mr. Jaffe handled the matter most professionally, He demonstrated thorough knowledge of his craft and was gracious to everyone involved. The points I would have received against my license were waived, and I was protected from any future lawsuit regarding the accident. I strongly recommend Mr. Mark Jaffe. He is extremely busy with numerous cases, but when it is your turn, he treats you like you're his only client. Thank you, Mr. Jaffe! God Bless You!

Outstanding professional service, with a personal touch

It was a pleasure working with Mark. He responded to all correspondences in a timely manner, and kept me informed about my case. Mark made himself available whenever I needed to reach him; being available in the weekends is a huge plus. He is very knowledgeable about the laws, and gave helpful ad...vice for the future. I would definitely recommend Mark for family and friends. Thanks again for everything!

Excellent at what he does

I was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident with multiple violations.Mark did an excellant job of explaining the process of prosecution and judgement and accurately predicted the outcome. He had a calming effect throughout the process. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the motor vehicle l...aws, infractrions and consequences. He was the right man for the job. Dont go to traffic court without him.

Eats, breathes, and lives for his clients!

I recently had a traffic accident and turned to Mark for legal counsel. This was the first time I'd come in contact with Mark and was a little nervous about what to except, however after all the interactions I've had with him over the past weeks (including being with him at my court appearance) I ca...n now recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone seeking a genuinely trustworthy lawyer!! Apart from very minor scheduling hiccup Mark was on top of everything. He kept in constant contact with me throughout the whole process and was available to answer any question I had on a nearly 24/7 basis. He is very personal, professional, and someone who obviously cares a lot about doing his job well - something I always take as a good sign. Thanks again Mark!! P.S. Just "for the record"....I did not receive any sort of compensation for this endorsement!!!

I swear this is the case they make true life movies over...shock and awe first hand...real talk

Let me start by saying when i first was handed mr Jaffe's card by one of my friends i didn't know what to think. I was so distraught over my case i didn't know what to do. I had just gotten a new job from my old one which was me working 12 hours a day 7 days a week with no days off for 7 months strai...ght...no daysssss offf. making peanuts.highschool graduate no college i was almost screwed in the working world. this new job saved me i was able to get my own place and start my life officialy keeping in my mind im 26. the clock is ticking. i finally was about to get furntiture for the house and everything was about to be good for the first time in years.i was broke beyond relief and i was just gettin my money right when i got the hardest hit of my life a dwi. it wouldnt be that big a deal but my new job depended on my being able to drive. so now i was risking no job with a brand new lease which was going to lead to ultimate eviction and no place to live. my closest relatives that could help me are in california i live in nj.my life was going to be over completly over. but i took this card and called the number on it. i gave it a shot what the heck i was screwed anyway. when i first met mr jaffe the first thing he said was you can relax im going to fight for you. now like i said i was broke the retainer fee was however managable. most lawyers charge about 3 thousand dollars for something like this mr jaffe gave me the oppurtunity to pay it off in a payment plan that fit my needs and my wallet. remember i was broke. he was upfront about everything from the beginning. he told me about what i was facing and how hard it would be but he never stopped saying that he would fight for me it made me feel good. i went through arraignments and pretrials scared as can be but mr jaffe was there for me. he is a busy man he holds down his office with himself and his wingman mr marshawn with tons of cases on his back but he always found time for me. whether it was 8 in the morning or 12 at night he was there. although the courts were so unhelpful and so bias the whole entire time mr jaffe stood by my side. they even tried to screw me literally they had me come to court for a pretrial conference and turned it into a trial right on the spot even though they had made the mistake when it was to be nothing more but a final pre trial conference. the judge basically said f u we are going to take your license and were going to do it by making u try the case today with no preperation. if u dont take the crappy plea bargain right now we are unfairly going to destroy you. Well with no preperaswoontion no time to call witnesses no nothing back against the wall mr jaffe stood out like a shining sun and said you know what if you want to go to trial lets do it. he called thier bluff and we went in like lone rangers into the belly of the beast . what the courts didnt know is that mr jaffe is like kobe bryant in the fourth quarter. he attacked every element of the states case against me and obliterated it without the help of the expert witness that jaffe had as a trick up his sleeve. he did it all himself with no time to prepare. it was all freestyled off the top of his brain with such perfection and magnificence my jaw is still on the floor wondering how i still have my license. he is a black mamba in disguise. the black mamba is the deadliest snake on the face of the planet. one bite can kill 150 people. and i saw that in the courtroom. he ate up the prosecuter and the judge and the testifying cop. and he did it all with a smile. i have never witnessed anything like it in my life not even in the movies.its like seeing the hulk and superman all in one in real life. i was facing 24 months loss of license and thousands of dollars in fines . im telling you if you want to win your case and still have some money in your pocket put your trust in mr Jaffe. no longer is it that the truth shall set you free. keep it real justice isnt blind the only one that is going to set you free is Mark Jaffe Esquire attorney at law. I use to think that he was david vs goli

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2022.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
