Our Angel!!!

I hired Mark Jaffe to handle my husband's criminal possession case. As he was made aware by his public defender on the first meeting, He was facing at least 3 years prison time. After some search for a private attorney I decided to retain Mark and his team . To be honest, I didn't believe that he w...ould end up getting away with his charge and thought that was a sales pitch to empty my pockets. Next thing I noticed and liked was that Mark ALWAYS picked up the phone on him even after hours. He spent hours on the phone comforting him in that unpleasant situation and also giving educated legal advice. Mark treats his clients like family members, he is there to help 24x7! You can reach him by email or cell phone almost all the time. He is knowledgable and compassionate, he has good relationship with the judge and prosecutor in the Princeton & New Brunswick area.No matter what your legal issue, in the end, as a client, you want a fair and just resolution and he will be a strong advocate for you. He was simply so impressed with the wealth of background knowledge that he brings to cases--issues, personalities judge, DA, court clerks, everything. Kind of amazing to watch this guy in action and I forgot to mention he is very reasonable. Thanks for everything Mark

gratitude

Who do you turn to when you are in a awful situation? I would believe you turn to someone who is realiable, has answers, responsible, trustworthy, intelligent, good character and who is willing to have your back. I am very grateful of Mark Jaffe who has helped me overcome a few bumps that have appea...r in my path. Mr. Jaffe has great understanding of several fields when it comes to the law. He has worked with prosecutors, other lawyers, judges, and various cases were he set himself and his client to win the case. Every case is a commitment to him and no matter how doubtful the individual is of the situation it is to be known that you can count of Mr. Jaffe to get you through it. Thanks to my lawyer Mark Jaffe I am free of any troubles I've gotten myself into with the law.

Mark H. Jaffe - tough fight, charges DISMISSED

Mark Jaffe is an outstanding criminal defense lawyer. My case involved a traffic accident brought about by a manufacturers defect. When my car was impounded I reported said defect which had been repaired as what I believed caused the accident. A mechanic hired by the state asserted there was nothi...ng wrong with my car - Mark was INSTRUMENTAL in helping prove that the accident was NOT MY FAULT. Any charge brought against you by the state is extremely serious. Mark was available round the clock to answer questions and was extremely receptive to all new information provided. The state often pressures defendants to accept a plea which simply does not reflect the circumstances of the case. We went to court 3 times; Mark spoke with the prosecutor at length and secured an adjournment to bring additional facts to light. He then successfully presented those facts three different times to the end result of a DISMISSAL. Mark's rapid responses and availability were INVALUABLE in making sure we had enough time to FIND THE FACTS before the prosecutor was able to close up the case. Timeliness in bringing facts to be reconsidered is absolutely essential in a court of law. Mark will make sure YOUR VOICE IS HEARD.

Target of a criminal investigation

I'm a college student trying to make money, and was unknowingly sold a stolen phone. Mark made himself 100 percent available to help me out. He's been my first lawyer, and he going to remain as my only lawyer. He responds to texts, emails, and calls very fast, even at nighttime and on weekends. The b...est part about him is all the experience that he has which means he has a lot of connections. He knows Middlesex and Mercer police, judges, etc. Very friendly and brilliant, and very hard working. He was recommended to me by a friend, and now I am recommending him to you.

Plainsboro Adult/Underage DWI and Reckless Driving

I am 20 years old and I had a .05 BAC reading. I was charged with a regular DWI, underage DWI, and Reckless Driving. I went straight to Mark and he told me that it would not be tough for him to fight off the adult DWI and reckless, but it would be pretty hard to prove the underage considering I told ...the officer I had a few drinks. We sent a lot of emails to each other and met weekly and he was able to get the adult DWI and reckless driving from my record so I just had to pay a small fine for the underage DWI and my insurance rates did not increase. Not only do you get your legal work done when you hire Mark, you also make a friend. When you are at his office, he gets work done and he makes a lot of side conversation so you do not get bored. He makes everything interesting for you and says a lot of random but interesting facts which makes the trip to his office worth going to.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
