Excellentob

Mark did an excellent job with my case. I was convicted of a small misdemeanor under unfortunate circumstances, and Mark helped me through the case all the way to a dsimissal (and expungement). I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a devoted, caring lawyer.

Got a speeding ticket at US Rt 1

Hello All, I got the speeding ticket at US Rt 1. 39:4-98 speeding 77mph in a 55 mph zone (This is 4 points and $500 ticket + Increase in insurance). I got lot of letter from lawers and I threw them in thrash. Then I got the letter from Jaffe and it was very personal and I called him. I went to his o...ffice and met him. He was very polite and explained me every thing. I paid his fees and he represented me in the court. I ended up with zero (0) insurance point and $ 300 fine ticket. He is very professional, kind and understanding. I strongly recommend to hire him. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!!!!!

A Great Lawyer!

I have known Mark for about 30 years: originally as a colleague at Rutgers University where I still teach as a professor and later as a lawyer representing me in a number traffic violation cases. I have never been disappointed with this fine man. He is a treasury of great qualities: honest, dependabl...e, socialable, effective and above all caring. He throws himself in his legal cases as if he is himself the client! His depth of knowlwedge of NJ laws and his comitment to his profession combined with his great heart for people leads to results, most of time, results that are least expected of the difficul cases clients often face -- nothing less that outstanding. I also know that many of the friends I recommended to use Mark are very happy with his service. I recommend Mark without any reservations whatsoever to anyone in NJ needing legal service, particularly for traffic violations. Do not miss this lawyer if you want to be in a great hand!

Excellent Result

My wife and I were nervous and afraid of what could happen. We were only dealing with a moving violation, but we had to go to court. The last thing we needed was any more points added to our licenses. Mark reassured us that he could help us. Even though we had put off contacting a lawyer to the day b...efore the court date, Mark took the time to handle our case and thoroughly prepare us for what would happen in court. Mark treated us with respect and sensitivity. He was on our side. In court, he exceeded all our expectations and delivered a very satisfactory result. We heartily recommend Mark to anyone. He literally turned what was for us a frightening situation, into a comfortable experience. He not only put our minds at ease, he delivered what he promised.

Best Traffic Attorney in the Princeton / Plainsboro area

I had a number of tickets handed down to me at one time. 1) 30-35 mph over the speed limit 2) Reckless Driving 3) Improper Passing of lanes 4) Expired State Inspection The case was serious as it had the potential of landing 14 + points on my driving record. Plainsboro twshp, where the inci...dent took place, is known to be very strict under those circumstances. I was facing a possible suspension of my license. Being that I depend on a car everyday to get to work, it was essential that I handled the matter with the upmost priority. I needed to have a lawyer represent me, but was very cautious about who to trust. After reaching out to several lawyers, and hearing what they had to say, I fianlly decided to stay with Mark. He helped to diffuse my fears and assure me that he was going to represent me in the best way possible. He also seemed to be the most experienced with the Plainsboro township, as he works and lives in the area. I had my doubts in the beginning, being that never had to hire an attorney in the past. I thought he was going to be a typical lawyer that you see on TV or in the movies. But to the contrary, he maintained his patience and proved himself repeatedly until he earned my trust. He also offered me a very reasonable rate I could afford. Mark handled the case professionally, and the day of the court, he was able to work with the prosecutor to reduce the severity of the offences against me, to something fair and manageable. Mark proved everything he stated about his years of experience as a lawyer, specifically in Plainsboro. He is very familiar with the judge, the prosecutors, and the rest of the staff. This proved to be extremely helpful in his defense of my case. Without him, the case probably would have ended with a direct suspension of my driving privileges. Everything he said he could do, was done, and I walked out feeling I got my money's worth. I highly recommend Mark as a lawyer. He is extremely hard-working and loyal to his clients. Though his schedule is very busy and he often works late into the night, he still managed to personally respond to each and every one of my inquiries and questions, helping me understand the complexities of the case against me and the legal mechanisms involved. He was honest and forthcoming about all the issues regarding the case. I'd definitely work with him again and I'd advise anyone facing the same or similar issues as I have, to hire him as well. It will definitely save you a lot of headache.

Suspension issued in NJ, 2022

updated on 08/22/2025

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Mark’s comment:

“A reprimand was issued due to a misunderstanding involving parking tickets on a friend’s vehicle I had temporarily used; although I paid my friend for the fines, procedural issues arose because I was not the registered owner, and the court held me responsible despite my good-faith effort to resolve the matter.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2020

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“The reprimand was based solely on not having a written contract in a pro bono case, as I did not believe a formal agreement was required when offering free legal assistance.”

Censure issued in NJ, 2017

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“While caring for my dying mother, I submitted a rushed expungement in a difficult case involving a mentally impaired client; although the outcome was successful, a complaint was later filed due to the filing’s quality, which led to a reprimand. I then provided a full refund to the client.”

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2012

updated on 08/22/2025

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Mark’s comment:

“In a rare case, an interpreter—unknown to me at the time—provided false testimony, which contributed to my reprimand and mistrial; I’ve handled over 14,000 cases with integrity and success, and I remain committed to delivering strong, ethical representation.”
