After graduating from Delsea Regional High School in 1969, he attended Ursinus College and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and was inducted in that same year into Pi Gamma Mu, the National Political Science Honor Society. He then earned his Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from Rutgers University School of Law.
Mr. Hoffman has spent his entire career fighting for his friends and neighbors in South Jersey, and has had the privilege to be able to help thousands of South Jersey’s families deal with some of the toughest moments of their lives.

Disappointed
We hired Mr. Hoffman to represent us, and he said all the right things, but the result wasn't good for the amount of money we paid. I wish we would have gone to someone else.
Dear Anonymous, I felt compelled to reply to your recent posting concerning legal services that I rendered on your behalf. Unfortunately, because your identity is unknown to me, I cannot specifically address your complaints. Because I personally concentrate in two areas of the law, personal injury and criminal defense, I can only assume it was the latter since all of our personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. It is important to note that there are a number of occasions when individuals are charged with criminal or quasi- criminal offenses for which the attorney must give practical advice as to what is in the best interest of the client. Sometimes, there are legitimate defenses to be raised that would result in an acquittal of the underlying charges. There are other instances, however, in which it would be counterproductive to try a case when there is no reasonable prospect of an acquittal. When it comes to sentencing of individuals, the judge takes into account such factors as whether the individual acknowledges his or her wrongdoing, takes steps to become a productive member of society and commits to a law-abiding life.
