To start, I've interviewed almost every attorney in South Jersey. At one point I opted to represent myself because I couldn't find someone I trusted to care as much about my case - as me. Until I met Pete ... Pete listened. Gave good advice. Followed up. Gave me insight into options. Gave me t...he perspective of the other attorney. The other party. The judge. The counselors. The admin court staff. There wasn't an angle Pete didn't leave out. He was empathetic. But firm. He would listen but tell you - stop whining - if you went too far on an issue that wasn't relevant to your case (obviously in a nice way - but often best to cut losses on things that don't matter). I truly wish I had Pete from the beginning. He's an incredible attorney, and extremely well versed in court proceedings and new jersey law. I've had the privilege of working with Pete Banfe over a number of years. I turned to him at one of the most difficult times in my life - when my marriage was ending. I hired Mr. Banfe due to my ex husband filing a motion to eliminate my alimony. My ex has been paying me alimony for years now but wanted to retire but not without a date of my termination of alimony.
