I hired Pete to assist in a couple of post judgment issues. My previous attorney went through a divorce and he hired Archer & Greiner so I too went for the best. Before hiring Pete, things did not work out my way. My ex wife was very difficult to deal with. I had always heard that the legal s...ystem works well when both parties agree to the rules. Early in my case, the process went out of control. Pete played by the rules, and by using the rules to our advantage, he brought the case back under control and turned several adverse decisions into very positive outcomes. Additionally, we were the defendants in my case wherein my ex wife appealed a decision to the NJ Court of Appeals. Not only did Pete manage the case to a 100% confirmation of the lower court's decisions, he secured a reimbursement of legal fees from my ex wife. Pete is the consummate professional who skillfully guided me and my case through the legal system. Hopefully I never have to go though a divorce again, but if I did, Pete would be the only attorney I would consider.

To start, I've interviewed almost every attorney in South Jersey. At one point I opted to represent myself because I couldn't find someone I trusted to care as much about my case - as me. Until I met Pete ... Pete listened. Gave good advice. Followed up. Gave me insight into options. Gave me t...he perspective of the other attorney. The other party. The judge. The counselors. The admin court staff. There wasn't an angle Pete didn't leave out. He was empathetic. But firm. He would listen but tell you - stop whining - if you went too far on an issue that wasn't relevant to your case (obviously in a nice way - but often best to cut losses on things that don't matter). I truly wish I had Pete from the beginning. He's an incredible attorney, and extremely well versed in court proceedings and new jersey law. Happy to give a verbal referral for anyone that needs additional information. I've sent 3 friends his way, and wish I had retained his services sooner.

Peter did a great job and I would recommend him. If I had 1 complaint it it would be about billing. After the case was over he told me he would e mail me with what I needed to do but to call him when I received it. I called and he went over what was in the e mail and then billed me for the phone call.... Other than that he did a great job .

I've had the privilege of working with Pete Banfe over a number of years. I turned to him at one of the most difficult times in my life - when my marriage was ending. I was extremely upset, my four sons were deeply effected and I was also very confused. Pete analyzed my situation and determined ...the best path to travel that would set me up to start to build a life on my own as well as enable me to provide for my sons who were splitting their time with their parents in two separate homes. The most valuable service Pete provided was that he advocated for me when I was unable to advocate for myself. That was incredibly helpful. The most affirming event that occurred during this process was when Pete was publicly praised in open court by the judge who was hearing our motion. She recognized Pete for his knowledge of the law and his knowledge of courtroom procedures. I've referred a number of people to him over the years. I'll always be grateful to Pete and would recommend him to anyone in need of Marriage and Family Law expertise.
