Will get the job done but not with compassion
I struggle with how to word this. Ben handled a very long difficult frustrating short sale for me successfully!. That said, I was told after I hired him that most short sale attorneys do not charge you upfront and not nearly as much as I paid. While I think he spent the time to earn what I paid, I wa...

I found this law firm on Avvo and was impressed with the great reviews, and we retained this firm for our issue. We got the result we wanted, but their entire office is an absolute mess. Whoever writes their lawsuits has very poor attention to detail. Names and addresses were misspelled and/or plain ...
We appreciated the opportunity to represent this client in their real estate litigation matter, and were pleased to have been able to obtain the exact result they sought in less than a month. We have closely reviewed our file, and found a few instances of incorrect names, however, those were the names provided to our firm. We also agree that calls were not returned by the attorney for a period of days, but the client neglected to include that the attorney was on vacation for a week, a fact the client was made aware of at the time the call was initially placed. We are pleased that in the attorney’s absence, the paralegal assigned to the file was able to competently answer the client’s questions, and did so in a timely manner. While it is accurate that this client received a statement with a balance due after the matter was completed, the client neglected to include the fact that approximately 60% of the $5,000.00 retainer was returned, as the matter was competently completed in a quick and economical fashion. The additional money due related to a filing fee our firm paid on the client’s behalf in order to file their lawsuit; the client authorized the expenditure before it was made. While it is accurate that there was a mistake, and the statement was generated after the unused retainer was returned to the client, this was a cost approved by the client prior to the filing of the lawsuit. We were surprised the client wrote a review of this nature, as they let us know they were very pleased with the result when the matter concluded. We hope this client enjoys the benefits of the work we completed on their behalf, and wish them well.

knowledgeable but beware of billing
Benjamin Dash represented us in a recent home purchase. He and his staff did a satisfactory job in what was a fairly straightforward purchase transaction. There were however a few aspects that I was not at all happy about. First, whenever something came up, his secretary would ask for me to call h...
