During my long and stressful divorce, Thomas Roberto was my rock. He was my voice of reason, my partner through the process, and #1 supporter and advocate. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and was always upfront about everything. No empty promises, no showy loud-mouth antics (like my ex’s lawyer), and he was always professional when others were not. Tom constantly checked in with me and made sure I was ok with every decision before it was finalized. His legal advice during the process of child custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, etc was invaluable. He thoroughly explained the sometimes unexpected consequences of common divorce mistakes, and prevented me from doing the same. Tom would make himself available whenever I needed him. Thomas Roberto is not only an expert in family court he is also an absolute blessing to me and my family. I had previously spent 7 long disappointing years in and out of family court over a custody battle of my two daughters. I've gone through a decent amount of attorneys in that time frame. I’ve previously hired what was said to be, “the best of the best attorney”, the “aggressive in the courtroom” attorney, even the, “they know the Judge well” attorney. Not one of them could accomplish what needed to be done. It was so disappointing going into the courtroom with documents that should have changed our order yet coming out with little to no change. I was going thru a difficult and complicated divorce, where there were multiple businesses involved, children and more and a partner that would change their mind every minute. Thomas and his staff were lifesavers. He was extremely efficient, yet had things done quickly and correctly. He always looked out for my best interest and did nothing but fight even when things got complicated. Thomas is very concerned about doing everything he possibly can to protect his clients and is very meticulous about how everything is handled. He makes you feel like you are his only client, so I would highly recommend him to handle any case I would have!

I cannot say enough! Tom was extremely knowledgeable, VERY patient, and always so responsive, while he worked on my (our) prenuptial agreement. Let me first say that Tom Roberto is the best. He took my case when no one else would. Before finding this firm, I had some horrendous legal representation for my divorce case and the post-divorce cases that followed – it was truly a nightmare. Briefly, two years post-divorce, my ex-husband decided to file a motion to take primary custody of our three teenage children – citing that I was unstable. In the process, he also succeeded in turning them against me. Up to that point my legal counsel was not protecting me, my children or my personal interests at all – their advice was to just to yield to my ex’s demands. This was devastating to me financially and emotionally. I sought the advice of other legal council but no one would take my case because of how difficult it was and offered no encouragement, recommendation or hope. I was sick about it – literally, it was affecting my health. I was at a point where I trusted no one. I felt helpless. Then I happened to be look at the Internet for law firms and that’s when Tom’s name came up – I looked at his reviews and there was a client that had a very similar situation as mine and he was able to provide her some hope and relief. She gave him a glowing review – I called him immediately, explained my situation, he agreed to take my case and I never looked back. Since then, he and his associate, Kim Greenfield, have really turned my case (and my life) around. When Tom took my case and the massive stacks of paper and the ridiculous nonsense that accompanied this case – he scoured through every last piece of paper that I gave him – he then brought in Kim to assist with the case and they both were able to do what I thought was impossible and turned my case around. They were very patient and kind with me with all my anxiety and hopelessness – they pulled me out of a very dark place. I am grateful. In conclusion, both Tom is very thorough, has amazing communication skills, is compassionate, patient, honest and practices law ethically, without the mud-slinging – I can go on and on. I am hoping someone reads this – who is struggling legally and probably emotionally that they will see that there truly is hope in it all – there are some truly competent and trustworthy lawyers (Tom is one of them) who cares – I had lost hope but I’m so glad I found him (and Kim) – they really changed my life. I heard about Tom through a friend who insisted that if I needed a Divorce Lawyer, this was the guy. I shortly after retained Tom to handle my divorce case. In my case, communications were required to be exclusively through lawyers in order to make any progress with the divorce, so it was especially important that these correspondences preceding the MSA be handled with care. Thru countless irrational communications, Tom maintained composure and conveyed the essence of my input beyond what I was capable of providing at the time. I feel that every correspondence over the Year and a half venture was calculated and concise. Regardless of the difficulties with my case, Tom did a stellar job taking a chaotically irrational situation and guiding me through every turn. To keep it short, Tom successfully nurtured near-impossible communications in order to construct a MSA that both My Ex-Wife and I could comfortably sign.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Tom. My divorce was the most challenging thing I have gone through and I wouldnt have survived the process if it wasn't for his temperment, knowledge, and professionalism. He was extremely responsive (still is for the little things I need here and there) and thorough -from the first consultation through the end. He truly put the best interest of the kids first and listened to my views. He is not the type of attorney to try and stir the pot for extra fees.
