Mr. Clancy was one of the first attorneys awarded the designation of "Certified Worker's Compensation Law Attorney" by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1998 and at the time was the youngest attorney certified in that field of law.
He has been given an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubble for possessing the highest ethical and legal abilities. From 2021 to present he has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” in New Jersey, a rating that is given to only 5% of New Jersey’s attorneys.

Jim was invited to join "COSH" the Council on Occupational Health and Safety in the early 2000's. COSH is a consortium of attorneys, doctors and labor unions focused on the rights of injured workers. The group uses litigation, legislation and education in support of the cause. He has since been elected a member of the executive committee.
Mr. Clancy received his undergraduate degree from Lynchburg College and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Delaware School of Law. Mr. Clancy joined the firm in 1990, concentrating on worker's compensation law, wrongful termination, social security, and public disability pensions and employee rights.
Mr. Clancy has tried many cases to conclusion in the Division of Workers Compensation, The Office of Administrative Law and The Superior Court of New Jersey. His legal efforts have resulted in favorable interpretations of law by the NJ Appellate Division regarding discrimination against injured workers.
Mr. Clancy lives in Marlton, New Jersey with his family. He is a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities Dioceses of Trenton and coached youth sports for the Marlton Recreation Council, the South Jersey Lacrosse Club and Cherokee High School Lacrosse.
