Thomas Joseph DeMarco

Thomas DeMarco is a seasoned attorney with a compelling journey that began in New York City, where he was raised in a modest Italian-American family. After completing his education in New York, he ventured to law school in Arkansas, where he distinguished himself by achieving the highest score on the bar examination in June 1980. Upon relocating to New Jersey, Thomas fell in love with South Jersey in 1983 and began his legal career.
With nearly nine years of service at the Public Defender's Office, Thomas founded his criminal defense practice in 1992. He has successfully defended clients in thousands of municipal and criminal cases, showcasing his skills through extensive cross-examinations in high-stakes trials involving serious charges such as kidnappings, robberies, and drug offenses. His expertise has also led to publications in the Camden County Bar Association, where he shares insights on navigating complex legal challenges. Beyond his professional commitments, Thomas and his family actively support their local church, homeless shelters, and animal shelters, while enjoying quality time with their two granddaughters.
