William A Riback

Mr. Riback has represented me several times in bankruptcy litigation, landlord/tenant, and eminent domain - I found him to be most cooperative, very intelligent, a great litigator, who stands behind his client and helps them get the best deal. I recommend him highly to anyone who finds himself in a ...troubled situation. He is both responsive, and diligent in his practice. For example, He negotiated with a bankruptcy lawyer, and reduced my obligation to 1% of the amount claimed, and only charged me his hourly rate.

I'm a black male, that worked at NJ department of transportation for over 10 years. Throughout my tenure there I was repeatedly called N^&&%= along with other racist terms. Riback said "this is a slam dunk case", as some coworkers admitted to the open racism. My attentions from the beginning was to b...e compensated monetary for the discrimination and moved to another work site. Riback did the unspeakable and agreed with the request of the state lawyer to resign me from my position. Leaving me on unemployment! !! When I objected Riback request to sign resignation papers, he said, " if you don't like the way I handled your case, find a new lawyer". But even with a new lawyer the state was unwilling to rehear my case.

This is attorney failed to sign a retainer agreement for over 2 months after I signed agreement with him. He attempted to charge me to pay for his hotel after signing a contingency agreement, never explained to me that I could have paid an hourly rate as opposed to 40% contingency. Would not return... phone calls and made racist comments about blacks. This guy needs to be disbarred from practicing law!
