Thorough, Kind, and Dedicated

Met with Mr. Townsend to ask him to prepare a prenuptual agreement for my fiance and I. Mr. Townsend was very kind, and a pleasure to meet with. He was very thorough in collecting all of our information, and did an excellent job at creating a document that my fiancé (now husband) and I could feel goo...d about. My now husband is also an attorney, and he felt good about the document that was prepared. Mr. Townsend also has a kind manner, and was caring. His office staff is also very kind and attentive and was always helpful. I highly recommend this office and their services.

Hands down

Paul Townsend is the simply the most driven, experienced, capable, focused, and best lawyer in this field. I don't rate lawyers easily. When going through marital cases you don't want to mess around. Paul is extremely personal and extremely buisness oriented toward YOU and and your win in your case. ...I wouldn't recommend anyone else if you're serious about handling your case. I've looked vastly (and meticulously) for the perfect lawyer in NJ, none are like Paul in his tenacity drive and focus on your win. His honesty, integrity and drive are unparalleled. He seemed more passionate about my case than I was! And personanble. Secure and confident are gross understatements as Paul made me realize things in my case I didn't even see in my favor. Rarely do you get personable, professional and drive all in one but with Paul you do. I wouldn't trust anyone else unless they were recommended from him.

Paul and his team helped me each step of the way during my difficult and complicated divorce

Paul helped me remain strong during those times I was ready to give up. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a strong but gentle attorney for family matters.

Super Lawyer

When you have a lawyer recommended by a nun you cant help but feel like your on the right track and from the second I met Paul, I knew he was the man for the job. He was straight forward, honest and understanding. With his sense of humor and confidence he able to put me at ease through some incredibl...y difficult times. Because of his years of experience I felt he had a handle on every aspect of my case and having two young children that was incredibly important for me. He really cared for me and my family beyond what I believe any average, everyday lawyer would and for that I am truly thankful and feel deeply in his debt.

Be warned. Do not hire

Paul is a charming individual who can rope you into his services. However, if you see him do his work, he is poor at retaining information, organizing that information, working with technology and properly advocating for you at trial. He has to be managed up to ensure that your case is a priority.... His lack of availability, his lack of communication, his inability to guide you on potential pitfalls is utterly disappointing for someone who claims to have been in this field for 40 years. Worst of all, ask around to other attorneys as you decide about what they think of Paul Townsend.

Avvo, provides an open forum for people to leave feedback for the attorneys they have hired, consulted, or contacted whether it be true or not. For a very few clients things do not completely go their "satisfaction." It could be a rogue judge, or the facts of the case simply do not support the position 100%. There also are times where the attorney is 95% successful in the representation but the client is dissatisfied with the results. Also, and this is important, sadly other attorneys (my competitors) DO NOT SPEAK WELL OF THE ATTORNEY and DELIBERATELY SPEAK POORLY of OTHER, ATTORNEYS. That is something I will never do. I always tell the client what they have to hear not what they want to hear. Please, note that there is only one negative review. I am proud of my record and ability and look forward to meeting whomever is reading this review. See your previous requests.
