Holly Martindale Friedland

I am a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney specializeing in the areas of Matrimonial Law, Adoptions, Domestic Violence, Appeals, Mediation, Collaborative Divorce, and Estate Planning. I have been in private practice since 1996.

Prior to entering private practice, I served as law clerk to the Honorable Graham T. Ross, Presiding Family Court Judge of Somerset County. I attended Lehigh University, graduating with a B.A. in 1992.  I attended Western New England College, School of Law, graduating in 1995. I am admitted to the New Jersey Bar, 1995; U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, 1995; New York Bar, 1996; and New York Court of Appeals, 1996. I was admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of the United States in 2007.

I am currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, for which I have served on the Adoption Committee and Young Lawyers Committee of the Family Law Section; and Morris County Bar Association. I also serve as an Early Settlement Panelist for Morris County and sit on the Board for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project.

 I was added to the roster for the Superior Court of New Jersey to provide Mediation in Family Law Cases in 2005. I provide mediation services in Family Law disputes both in private situations and as a court appointed mediator.

 I am also trained in the area of Collaborative Divorce. 

My work has been reported in the case of Miller v Miller 160 N.J. 408 (1999). I have also written articles for the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, County College of Morris and have lectured for the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts.
