He was formerly the Chair of the NJSCPA Young CPA’s Committee; this committee is dedicated to the education and career development of young Certified Public Accountants. He assisted the NJSCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and was a moderator of the AICPA New Member Forum, a two-day conference sponsored by the leadership of the AICPA in Phoenix, Arizona. He has also participated in the AICPA New Member Forum in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Tassillo is a member of the NJSCPA Estate, Trust & Gift Taxation Interest Group, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Furthermore, he has been a member of the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
Mr. Tassillo is presently an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he teaches Estate Planning to financial planners in FDU’s Professional Education Program, and teaches Estate and Gift Taxation in FDU’s Masters of Taxation Program. He frequently lectures CPAs and other professionals and has been published in several prestigious journals on estate planning and other related tax matters.
